It was very unpleasant to see the dirty sofas in this cafe; they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The furniture is old. If you value cleanliness, this is definitely not the place for you. The floor was dirty, but there weren’t many people there, so they could have cleaned it

I had an amazing experience at Boudin! When I visited, it was pleasantly empty, making for a relaxed and slow-paced atmosphere. I was thrilled that the food came out so quickly. I couldn’t decide between a burger or a salad, so I was delighted to find an option to get half of both. I also tried their pepperoni and cheese pizzas—each slice was delicious. The sourdough loaf I took home was fantastic! The associates were incredibly nice and patient. It’s like Panera Bread’s sister, but a little cheaper. Highly recommend!!

Jordan (the supervisor at this location) is a phenomenal employee and a first-rate level employee who deserves to have recognition by the senior leadership team. She is by far the most hardworking, dedicated, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and customer service oriented employee I have ever come across at any Boudin SF location I’ve dined at in the USA. The sourdough bread here is hands down the BEST sourdough bread in the USA. I absolutely love the cozy outdoor seating this location offers and their clam chowder soup is the MOST delicious clam chowder soup I’ve ever had in the USA. If you are looking for a venue that has great customer service, very high quality food, a casual environment and a very comfortable atmosphere, this is the perfect dining spot at The Fountains in Roseville. I look forward to dining at this amazing restaurant in the near future!

Boudin’s is absolutely amazing! Every time I come here, I’m blown away by how fresh and delicious everything is. The sourdough bread is out of this world — perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. Their clam chowder in a bread bowl is a must-try, rich and creamy with the perfect balance of flavor.

The staff is always friendly, helpful, and quick to make sure you’re taken care of. The whole atmosphere feels warm and welcoming — perfect for a casual lunch or a quick bite while out and about.

Whether you’re grabbing a sandwich, soup, or one of their yummy pastries, you can’t go wrong. Boudin’s never disappoints — easily a 5-star experience every time!

I ordered chowder in a bread bowl. I had never eaten inside this location before. My bread bowl had always been heated before. I was given a cold, dry bread bowl with some hot soup. The soup was fine, but there was no steam from heating the bread to moisten it. It was very disappointing. Maybe they don’t heat them anymore. I won’t eat there again.

Tuna melt sandwich was good. Other food is pretty bland which is surprising for their clam chowder. Potatoes are also under seasoned. Sandwiches run around $12 now and the soup and bread bowls are $9. Line can get pretty long but there’s is a self service kiosk. Also during our visit, the drink machine was down.

This review is for their Steve’s Sourdough Pizza only. There is nothing positive to say. Lack of toppings, barely any sauce, and the carelessness in their cooking it. They sent BURNT pizza. So the service too gets no stars for allowing something this poor in quality to go out. Each pizza was $28 per pizza plus delivery fees. Really disappointing. Just avoid it.

Mmmmmm the best sour dough Ever! It’s so delicious, I eat it with every meal! There’s so much you can do with this bread and oh the broccoli and cheddar bread bowl. Wow, amazing and very fulfilling! Personalities was great and they took care of us. Thanks for being great!

We ordered three hot sandwiches, and unfortunately, one of them had hair in the salad. The staff replaced the salad, but then we found hair in the sandwich itself. At that point, we were offered either a refund or a replacement sandwich, but we were already quite upset and decided to take the refund.

Overall, the experience was very disappointing and definitely not what we expected. Mistakes can happen, but the situation could have been handled better — the service felt a bit lacking in politeness and empathy. I’d like to think this was just one bad experience, but it certainly left a negative impression.

I bought a long loaf this morning. I proceeded to take it home and slice it to eat with generous amount of butter. The bread was dry and course- surprised was I !!!
Then sliced an hour later; lightly toasted for avocado toast – still tough and not chewy.
I have bought Boudin bread since 1967 ( San Francisco wharf) I may not buy again! Sorry for the loss
