It’s a good place, but probably won’t be my first choice. We got butter chicken, goat curry, and aloo baingan, and in that order were they tasty. The butter chicken was fairly bland and felt unseasoned, lacking the usual sweetness of the buttery tomato curry, and relied heavily on the chicken, which tasted like unseasoned chicken. The goat curry was standard, the meat felt overcooked and chewy, but I think thats mostly a product of goat, and the curry gravy was okay but not the best. Finally, the aloo baingan was by and far the best thing. Very tasty, perfectly cooked, great texture, and it actually had a really good spice kick. The chai tea was also very nice, but the mango lassi was very thin and watery.
All in all, it was good and I will go back, especially to try their lunch buffet.

If you want great Indian/Pakistani food and service, then Lzaza is for you. This family-run restaurant is located near Drake and has a variety of entrees.
Dine-in and take-out are available. I highly recommend dining in, especially during daytime hours so you can enjoy the buffet. If buffets aren’t your thing, no worries, ordering off of a menu is also an option.
If you’re new to Indo-Pak cuisine, again, no worries, the owners and staff have you covered. You got questions about the food? Ask away! Everyone is always happy to help.

The portion size and value here is insane. Must go restaurant if you love Indian food, probably top 3 tastiest Indian in Des Moines. Plenty of vegan options and well labeled to boot. I’m glad I wore sweat pants to this one.
On a side note, this is also one of the cleanest Indian restaurants we’ve been too. You can tell this is a family owned restaurant with the employee friendliness and attitude.

This place is right on the corner of 23rd st. Parking lot is small so might have to park on the street. They do lunch buffet and there are variety of food. Buffet cost about 14 dollar a person. The food were very good and wait staff were accommodating and friendly. Just keep in mind this is a buffet style restaurant and don’t be afraid to get the wait staff attention. I love this local eat place and will be back.

(i tried the beef curry it was PERFECT but i didn’t get a picture) the vegetarian samosas were cooked to perfection, they were crispy and packed with flavor. i definitely recommend this place, it deserves so much more recognition.

Our family enjoys this local gem. Buffet choices are varied and dessert with tea is included, along with unlimited warm naan. The location is small and parking can be difficult at times but the food is worth it. Definitely a favorite. The staff is also very kind and helpful.
