Lovely dinner, one of the few restaurants I find steak. The service was excellent with attention to detail. A few items on the menu were not available but still lots of options to choose from. Lovely balanced cocktail, flavourful and not too sweet. Finished off the evening with really delicious non alcoholic mango/cucumber/mint cocktail listening to the jazz band. Really great vibe and friendly patrons. A really great experience to wrap up the holiday season. Looking forward to going back for more steak and cocktails.

Radisha had excellent service. She was thorough and paid attention to detail. We did brunch on Sunday and the food and view was amazing. Drinks were delicious. Overall great experience.

Our dining experience was unfortunately one of the worst we’ve encountered. The restaurant was infested with flies, and they served us a fish platter that we hadn’t ordered, assuming we wouldn’t notice the difference. The food was of poor quality and lacked flavor, and the service was disappointing. After spending $400 USD on our meal, we chose to go next door for a much more enjoyable dining experience with delicious food and drinks. To protect your taste buds, I recommend dining elsewhere, as the service here leaves much to be desired.

We called in just for early afternoon drinks & relaxation & achieved both!
It wasn’t busy, which added to the relaxation aspect alongside the lovely location & views. The barman certainly knows how to make awesome cocktails,+ the waiting staff were great too. Very reasonable pricing too. = well recommended

Atmosphere is great, but obviously no management. Food menus are handed to you with an attitude. Wine menu is offered – they have no knowledge of what they are serving. So you ask for a sample and get charged for the bottle. Good luck.

Wines are of the lesser selection, dog water is more appealing.

Amazing food and truly stunning views – this restaurant really stands out from others in the area. The only downside was the slow service – drinks took a long time to arrive, and the food took almost an hour.

A New Culinary Experience at Chez Louis in Port Louis ?

A new restaurant has opened in the Port Louis Marina: Chez Louis. Expectations were high, as the restaurant aims to enter Grenada’s fine dining scene. But can they live up to these ambitions?

The location is nothing short of stunning, offering a breathtaking view of St. George’s. We were fortunate that no superyachts were docked, allowing us to fully enjoy the scenery. Chez Louis has opted for an “Ibiza” style design, complete with an infinity pool. The decor is tastefully executed and visually impressive.

Service and Hospitality

The service, however, was somewhat disappointing. Despite having a reservation and being the only guests in the restaurant at the time, no one came to greet us upon arrival or guide us to our table. This lack of attention made us feel unwelcome, especially after experiencing such warm and hospitable vibes the day before.

The Food

We started with the grilled cheese and tempura shrimp appetizers. The grilled cheese was enjoyable but could have been grilled a bit longer to develop a richer flavor. The tempura shrimp, on the other hand, was delicious and comes highly recommended.

For the main course, we chose the tuna tartare, which is technically listed as a starter. Its fresh and well-balanced flavors were a hit. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the grilled shrimp. Priced at 100 EC dollars, we expected more. The dish consisted of just two large shrimp, buttered and grilled slightly too long, resulting in a sour, slightly bitter aftertaste. Side dishes had to be ordered separately. We shared our feedback with the staff, as we believe this dish could be significantly improved.

We skipped dessert because we were hoping for ice cream, which wasn’t on the menu.

Conclusion

Chez Louis undoubtedly has the location and ambition to become one of Grenada’s top restaurants, but there’s still room for improvement. The menu needs a review to ensure better value for money, and additional training for the staff could enhance the overall guest experience.

We recognize that our visit was just a snapshot in time, so we plan to return and reassess in the future. For now, we were torn between a 3- or 4-star review. Ultimately, we’re giving them 4 stars because we believe in Chez Louis’ potential and sincerely hope they can achieve their goals.

Catastrophic evening, catastrophic service, catastrophic food, waited 60 min for french fries. Never ever go here! Worst experience! Plus you hear 3 different music at the same time! Incredible and unacceptable and zero excuses or discounts on the issues. The wine actually finished each time after one bottle… what a unprofessional restaurant
