If you are looking for authenticity of Nanjing Salted Duck, this is the place.
The restaurant features a delicacy that you can not find in other restaurants. You should always pair the duck with a noodle soup as the salty flavor compliments it super well.
The turkey served in a similar fashion also has great flavor which is hard to achieve considering that turkey generally is dry.
The people are always down to chat so don’t be afraid to start a conversation with them

I brought my duck because he needs a place to live. he’s a very messy roommate and I think he should have his own house so I walked into this place hoping they could find me a house for the duck. They took one look at them and they smiled and they said indeed we can find a place for him, but then they wouldn’t show me any of the houses. They just wanted me to leave the duck. I got a creepy feeling and then I left. I don’t think they have any duck houses. They look like they would eat my duck.

This restaurant is not big, but the food is so tasty. The most popular item is salted duck. Lots of the customer call in to order first, because the salty duck always sold out before 6pm.

The most authentic Nanjing Salty Duck, I have bought from this restaurant for years! The old owner was from Nanjing and the recipe was from the most famous duck restaurant in that region, but sadly after Covid they only provided take out service, it still the same quality even after the new owner took over the store!
Their duck were purchased from different state, less fat and more tender meet, and the cutting skill kept the way it should be, each piece is thinner and neat!

The restaurant is ran by a lady genuinely from Nanjing. I can tell by her way of speaking Chinese. The salted duck is great. She has a lot of pride in her duck recipe.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this store recently. A staff member aggressively insisted that I buy a dozen mooncakes, claiming she was guaranteed to taste great. I originally only wanted to buy 3-6, but she kept pushing me to buy a full dozen, despite my clear hesitation. It was uncomfortable and frustrating. To make matters worse, when I finally tried the mooncakes, they tasted more like meat buns with a strange, soggy texture—definitely not what I was expecting or wanted. I found the whole experience not only disappointing but also mentally exhausting. I have no intention of ever returning to this store, nor do I wish to engage with such pushy sales tactics again. It was truly an awful experience.

The owners are a Nan Jing native couple who take great pride in their recipe. They pick the best ducks from Indiana and their secret sauce is very authentic. The couple has been preparing the same duck for 20 years and you can taste the history, honest work and craftsmanship from every bite. The husband does a lot of talking and he will gladly tell you why his duck is simply the best 🙂

The food was not that great. We got duck and rice dish, and we got 3 parts of rice 4 slices of duck and a few pieces of Chinese broccoli , too much rice, I consider it a waste, too much rice only to make the dish look bigger. Not good

Found this place by accident, the salted duck is really tasty, even the bones have a good flavor. Their prices are very economical, this place is not too busy so you can save time from waiting. I would definitely go back and try the duck again.

Literally mom and pops cutting up some of the best salted duck anywhere. There’s pickled cabbage and peanuts to compliment the meat. Dont be intimidated by the dark windows and Chinese signs. Come on in and she’ll recommend what’s good.
