I was highly disappointed with the food. I ordered guacamole to start and it lacked flavor. It had no flavor at all so I had to mix it with the dipping salsa. Then I order a quesadilla, which normally, at any other restaurant, would’ve came with Oaxaca cheese and sour cream with Pico de gallo and a sauce. This restaurant gave me a quesadilla with a weird cheese . Then there was nothing to dip the quesadilla into, no sauce, no sour cream. I was like whattttt. When I asked for the side they said $3 for sour cream and $3 for pico de gallo. I was so disappointed. I’ve never in my life paid for a side unless it was additional. The quesadilla was a bummer altogether. First time there and I can say with the agreement of the folks that were with me that we will never be returning there. The menu looked great but the food was a disappointment.

Clean, great service. The restaurant was a bit dark so I think it would feel more welcoming with blinds open. However, the food was great. Best taco salad ever! We will be back for sure.

Not authentic, but good for those who prefer “white people taco night”. Decent prices, good lunch special. But tacos on flour tortillas with cheese…not for me.

Food is delicious, staff is nice, atmosphere is great since it feels more Authentic Mexican than those chain Mexican restaurants.
Personal opinion: chips are a bit too hard for my teeth but the bright side of that is it keeps me from eating too many. Drinks do not show prices and some were a bit overpriced IMO, but the bright side of that is that it keeps me from spending that money and consuming more calories .

Food had a hair {nose or mustache strait and stiff}
Meat used for everything was not seasoned at all just cooked bland beef
Same in tacos and nachos
Chili reano was pure salt
It filled the hole in the stomach but super bland
Other people where not watching kids so be ready for the Chuck E Cheese experience

Being new to the area I was hoping for more from a “top rated” listing. Honestly I wasn’t impressed. The service was fine but the food/drink was meh at best. Chips & salsa (salsa was mostly liquid). I ordered the Chimichanga with shredded chicken, rice and beans. Very little taste or seasoning in ANY of the food. Finally, my drink from the bar was more additives than alcohol which made it very bitter. Normally when you’re hungry almost anything can taste good. This wasn’t the case. It wasn’t horrible but I doubt I’ll be bringing anyone here to eat.

There are many reasons why Tapatios Mexican Restaurant in Canton has been top rated for over 11 Years. One of those reasons, is their Flan. I am a Flan connoisseur, and the Flan at Tapatios, is to die for. Never skip dessert.
