Great Mexican restaurant, minutes from the boat loading dock off the New River. After a long day of fishing, it was so relaxing to have a cold beer in the air conditioned room. The food was amazing, lots of choices, and big portion. Our waiter Raul was really friendly and experienced.
My husband ordered the Cancun Steak. It had so much flavor with sautéed onion and mushrooms in a thick brown gravy. Steak supposed to be medium, but it was over cooked. My husband still enjoyed the dish.
I ordered the Parrillada for one person which was a fajita dish filled with tender steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, and pork. I normally not a fan of fajitas, but this one was really good. I couldn’t even finish half of my plate. They did put a good amount of shrimp in the dish. My only complaint was half of the pork pieces were fat and the pork had no flavor.
Overall, we totally enjoyed our meal and loved the leftover.

Pearisburg, VA is a pretty small town, and my expectations were initially tempered, but this was some of the best Mexican food I’ve eaten in a long time. We had cheese and chorizo dip and Cancun chicken. Highly recommended!

Im giving this place a 1 star because the service is terrible, we have been done eating and iv had my card in my hand ready to pay for the last 25min and still waiting as I type this. no one will bring me the bill the food was okay but definitely had alot better. The workers are way more worried about the stupid soccer game then helping anyone. I really wanted to get dessert but not after waiting this long. If your looking for a place with good service please avoid this place. Super disappointed.

This place was a great find – Mexican themed food with an appalachian twist. You can have your chicken cancun served with a side of deep fried fries, for example. The food was excellent quality, the view of the mountains was spectacular, and the service was good. It’s a busy place but worth the wait.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service were excellent. Plenty of food and fair prices. The Tex Mex Burrito was huge and delicious and so were the fajitas. We ordered a side of cheese sauce and it was the best we have ever had. Not the watered down stuff you get at most restaurants. Also plenty of seating and beautiful view of the mountains. We will definitely be back!

The only reason for any star rating at all is because zero stars is not an option. We visited this restaurant at about 8pm on a Tuesday. We sat at a table in the bar/pool area.There were several “regulars customers” playing pool and drinking (as expected), but the issue was that they were all extremely loud to the point of yelling and very obnoxious, it was like they thought they were the only ones there. They were using foul language, again extremely loud, and the management/staff did nothing at all to curb the noise and foul language. There were several families with small children and a young softball team in the dining area. They could easily hear these people from the dining area and check out area. This was not the atmosphere one would expect from a family restaurant.
The service in the bar area was nearly nonexistent, to get our food and drinks we had to go to and stand at the bar then wait for the bartender to come to us, sometimes for several minutes when he would disappear into the back somewhere. For those reasons, not controlling the loud and obnoxious pool players and lack of service we chose to checkout and leave and to not leave a tip, something that I have never done in the past. I paid with a debit card and when I checked my account the next day, the restaurant had charged 8 dollars more to my bill although the receipt I got at checkout clearly read my total charged to card was 8 dollars less. I am totally finished with doing business with this establishment and I suggest anyone considering visiting this place to give it a second thought, and be sure to check your credit card to make sure you are charged correctly if you go there.
