GREAT food . Was in the area visiting family & decided 2 try this place out . Absolutely No regrets here . The fish was amazing, very delicious along with the fries , hush puppies & wings . We got the JJ mix which I would highly recommend . It was spot on . When I’m in the area next time , I will definitely be getting this again . Ordered delivery and got the food it was hot, and so good! We had the walleye dinners and the fish was cooked perfect, flavor was great, thick filets, best fish from a resturant i have had in a long time! Definitely recommend and will have again!

Food is fresh and hot cooked to order. The fries are not the skinny fast food fries but decent size and cooked well.The chicken sandwich is a nice size piece of chime cooked crispy. I had a really disappointing experience with the customer service at JJ Fish. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked a simple question about my order, the cashier gave me attitude instead of trying to help. It felt like they didn’t care at all about treating customers with respect. I’ve always liked their food, but the way I was spoken to made me lose interest in going back. Customer service should be just as good as the food — and this location really needs to do better.

A very solid spot to grab a nice meal. I love the whole and Buffalo wings. By surprise, their fries are absolutely phenomenal. Everytime I have gone here, my friends and I have been very satisfied. This is definitely a place worth every dollar.

Well, I might not have chose BIG JJ, but am glad I did.
I like to sample things BUT have core items and things I like and ask for. I settled on the fish combo dinner with Catfish and Walleye I then added a piece of fish that I thought was really, really good! It was the Perch. And to top it off, I’ve had a crazy urge for fried Okra and ordered that as well. And, like the perch, I am damn glad I did as if it was as fresh, or they served it as close to fresh as you’ll ever find it anywhere!. I mean three hours later, the fried coating AND the okra inside were BOTH Crispy and tasty.

However, the parking is a tough one as I chose to park near the front entrance. It is a small area…

However, I barely had enough Tarter Sauce AND the Cocktail Sauce was either homemade but more likely a HOT SAUCE. it was terrible to me but I’m sure those that like hot wings would approve.
Overall, I would have given it a 4.5. Not the 4 and not the 5 but a solid 4.5!!!

Some of the best fish I’ve ever had! Had the mixed combo, cat fish and walleye were perfectly cooked, flaky no grease and crispy thin coating. Wings and hush puppies were cooked perfect too all served with a huge portion of fries. Not sure what extra they add to the slaw too but it was great. I will be back every time im back in the area!
