Food was good; service staff were courteous and the atmosphere was good. People in surrounding booths were friendly and talkative, but it could have been a bit warmer. It’s uncomfortable to eat when cold no matter how good the food is. Lol The only other thing I can complain about is the price of the custard dessert cups. I paid over $17 for two. They were tasty but the amount was mot worth $8 per cup especially after receiving the sample cup.

I was told the food here was better than Portillo’s, that was a lie. Went here today to try the Italian Beef, hugely disappointed because as I sat in my car and bit off the beef sandwich, I was shocked at the lack of flavor from the beef and the gravy. I took a couple of bites and “donated” the rest. I wanted to give this business a second chance so I went right back inside and ordered the Italian Sausage this time. It was slightly better than the beef but still didn’t get me excited. This may be a great place for some, but I came away unconvinced. Great vibe inside with good customer service as well.

For a place with Italian Beef in its name you are expecting a phenomenal sandwich. But nah it wasn’t great at all tbh like bottom-shelf meat being served here. I got the Italian Beef Combo and the sandwich itself was a decent size ngl. I asked for sweet and hot peppers and dipped… I opened it up to my surprise. I got the hot peppers but guessing these jalapeño peppers and idk what the other peppers were but they definitely weren’t sweet. Either way, they didn’t add anything to the sandwich to me. Even with it being dipped the beef was still hella dry. All together probably ranked towards the bottom of the worst Italian Beef ever had. 6.3.

I had their chicken wrap today made with grilled chicken along with their cream of lemon chicken rice soup and both were amazing and absolutely perfect. This was my first time ordering from Pop’s Italian beef and I’m so glad I did. It was my first time having cream of lemon chicken rice soup also and it was really scrumptious. Thanks also for the two bags of crackers that were thrown in. The service was really great. My food was ready in like 5 minutes flat. Thanks for a great experience and a great dinner! From now on I will not only be delivering Pop’s Italian Beef as an Uber Eats delivery driver, I will also be eating it. 😀

Missing a star.. On our order to go, both my daughter’s and son-in-laws meat ball sandwiches were cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted. and my family lives less than a quarter of a mile away from Pop’s. Me and my wife’s food was hot and very good. Customer service was very good. Overall the place was very clean, including the restrooms.

I love going to this place it’s clean it has I saw like nine different suits at this one it was very nice they had their lunch specials I got like two soups the rice soup and the cheddar the cheddar soup Monday special. The only thing I would say is I would like somebody that’s putting my food in the bag to have on gloves cuz we’re still going over to understand people wash their hands but a lot of stuff still hide so the food is good. And props also have a lot of them but this one I went to I have been the three pop so far the original one I’ve been to was on Kedzie in the city and that’s why I fell in love with their food but all of them handling the food and everything is not the same like the city they got less to no one’s got more soup.

$10.79 for a 24 ounce soup and its all broth. I wish the employees would have have just said they were out of the chicken noodle soup instead of selling me broth. At the end of the day its the owners fault for employing young kids who dont care.

Great staff, delicious beef and one of the original locations(with the old fashioned/original feel to the atmosphere)! Pops beef is the best! I wish they sold the beef with the breadrolls in stores!
