I found my new favorite Thai spot! The food is absolutely delicious (the Cashew Tofu is a must try) and the service is genuinely lovely. The lady at the counter was so warm and friendly, she had my order ready to go in record time. The portions are generous too, but the quality is the real star. Highly recommend the Pad Se-Ew and the Spring Rolls!

We had an amazing late dinner here tonight. We came in at about 7 and they were so friendly and we were seated right away. Our waitress was wonderful and so knowledgeable about allergens and what was in each dish. My mom is celiac and I have multiple allergies and they made sure we got to have all the dishes we wanted. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend if you need any allergy accommodations. We got the red tofu curry (and it is as good as the best curry I’ve had in NYC), spring rolls, and chicken satay.

Cozy environment and friendly service. They have candle per table which is so cute and romantic. Reasonable price with good amount of food. Highly recommend basa with lime sauce!! Definitely will come back with my husbanf!!

We came here for dinner during our trip to Halifax and this was one of our favourite meals. The food was fresh, super flavourful, with generous portions and very reasonably priced. The restaurant had nice decor. We also had a nice chat with our waitress, Thúy, who is so sweet and friendly. Highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

For a place that makes amazing food, it’s always so quiet when I go in. I don’t understand. The pad thai is the best I’ve had. Spring rolls are amazing. Customer service is great. There’s not a negative thing I can think of to say. The only recommendation is to have chop sticks with the cutlery on the tables, but I just ask for them.

Talay Thai is a true hidden gem in Halifax! I never been to the restaurant itself although it’s a few minutes away. Today was my first home delivery ordere and I ordered the green curry and soup, and both were absolutely out of this world. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and deeply satisfying. It has been years since I’ve enjoyed a dish where the last bite tasted just as magical as the first.
I look forward to enjoy a meal next week at the restaurant. Thank you chief!
