Came across this gem because we were in the area and what a gem indeed! The food was absolutely delicious especially the chicken satay. We have had a lot of chicken satay all over, but this was among the best. One waiter serving but he did a tremendous job, very hardworking and polite. The Mie Jawa was so so good! This place is a must visit. Kudos to the chef!

This place has quickly become my family’s favorite. The food, the friendly guys working here and the food (again)
I have been to a regular to a place next door to this, so we figured we try this place out, since it’s halal Indonesian food and close to where we live.
Well, I was new to the cuisine so we went with their recommendation.
For the first visit we got chicken satay’s, Ayam penyet, Nasi goreng and Mie Jawa. Everything was just exceptional. My kid loved the satay and mie jawa. Me and my wife loved everything else. Ayam penyet was smashed fried chicken with their spices on top. One the second visit we got the similar mains but also mixed satay. Beef was okay, I still prefer the chicken satay over beef satay. We got Ayam beker (grilled chicken in their spices) delicious again as well.
The weekend special grilled fish was our recent visit order and it was delicious. Definitely try that if you are there over weekend.
The staff there is amazing. Free WiFi and parking. So that’s a plus.
Definitely recommended

Honestly delicious! They have halal and vegan options! We stopped by here once before for the chicken nasi goreng and the ayam penyet, it was so good that we were craving it last night so came back for more! You can get different spice levels, but the spiciness is just yum. We also tried the pisang goreng with vanilla ice cream, what a perfect way to end the meal! Had no idea it was fired banana before ordering it, but was very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back to try the vegan items and some of the other items next time!

Best part of our meal was the nasi goreng which was flavourful, a little bit spicy and had some nice crunchy texture to it. The star of the dish was definitely the fried egg. The beef rendang was tasty, although a bit on the dry side and the curry was a bit too salty. The coconut jasmine rice was also a nice touch.

This is a little hidden gem. Very friendly staff and tasty food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

– Beef Satay Skewers: very tender beef. The satay flavor was just right.
– Beef Rendang
– Sop Kambing
– Nasi Bakar
– Nasi Goreng with Shrimp: it was so good…unfortunately I forgot to take a picture
– Cendol: good flavor, but the pandas jelly was too soft

MUST TRY: homemade spicy sauce. Great for just about any food. I put that in the fried rice and it was just SO GOOD!

The food was generally good, though it wasn’t particularly memorable, as the flavours felt slightly lacking and missing a distinctive “kick.” The pricing is somewhat high, especially considering the location is not easily accessible without a car. That said, we still had an enjoyable experience overall. The service was efficient, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only notable drawback was the fried banana, which appeared overripe—possibly spoiled—as one piece had an unpleasant odor resembling bleach.

Went there for weekday lunch. Place was quiet. Martabak chickpea was good. It’s normally served with curry sauce. This time it was a sauce like the one from Vietnamese Bo bun. Chicken satay were also nice, peanut sauce is very good. Had mie jawa (noodle dish) which had way too much black pepper. Ended up $46 for those 3 dishes .

Been coming here often and the food never disappoints. The mi goreng is a must have, highly recommend. They have a simple menu. The only downside is that the portion and price point is on the higher end. The rendang curry comes on its own, rice is ordered separately.

It was our very first time trying Indonesian food, and what an amazing introduction it turned out to be! The lady who served us was so friendly and welcoming—she walked us through the menu, explained the different flavors, and helped us choose dishes that suited our tastes. The variety on the menu was incredible, with options for both spicy and non-spicy dishes, so everyone in our group found something they loved.

The flavors were rich and authentic, and every dish we tried was delicious in its own way. It truly felt like a little culinary adventure! The whole experience—from the warm service to the unique dishes—made it memorable, and we can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu.
