We lived in Spokane for years and Pete’s was our favorite place for calzone. Unfortunately, this visit was not good. We re staying about 25 minutes from Pete’s. When we got home and opened the box (we ordered a lite, a full and a King) and couldn’t decide which was which. The King size was what the regular used to be. The lite and full were the same size (one was burned). I used to brag about their calzones, but won’t recommend them again. This was probably my last visit.

Very great staff, accommodating to all my needs/wants. Friendly. Food was pretty good. Crust was a little thin for me(hence the 4 stars) but overall a great stop for food. In regards to the environment, I was here right at opening, and didn’t really run into any other people. Great establishment, 9.7 / 10! Free wifi too!
Special shout out to Jake, great service!

The staff were really friendly which is honestly the only saving grace in this review.
My calzone was not good- at all.
It was simultaneously burnt and soggy- I literally could not even pick it up without it falling apart.
I got my food to go because the other patrons visiting this establishment were eagerly talking about ways they could criminalize homeless people for creating barrel fires to keep themselves warm in the cold- even though it has nothing to do with them nor does it affect them. How absolutely disgusting.
I was absolutely repulsed by the group of people nonchalantly talking about creative ways to hurt other human beings and so I got my food to go- all in all it was not a good experience and I will not be coming back. Im absolutely just floored by these people and if this is the clientele this restaurant wants to serve that’s entirely their choice but at what point does morality and business ethics need to be established, discussed, and implemented?

Traveling through, and found this awesome local pizza joint. Down to earth, simple setting, and amazing food! We got a pepperoni to go and we both loved it! The thin crust is delicious! Also, they currently have beers for $2 or a six pack for $9. I felt like I was stealing the beer. While waiting I saw some great looking salads and amazingly huge calzones coming out of the kitchen. The staff was super friendly! Eat here.

Their pizza is actually one of the best I’ve tried in Spokane. The cheese they use and the dough is near perfect. It’s a little spendy but well worth the money.
I wasn’t a fan of the calzone but I think that’s just a personal preference thing. Never really been partial to calzones and today was no different but that’s not a knock on the restaurant, just my own preference.
I will definitely be choosing this as my new pizza place going forward.

Great food! Super hot so watch those bites, but really good first experience! The guy up front was nice and helpful, the beers were cheap, and the food was made fresh!
The restaurant inside is a little bland, but that’s not always what it’s about. Tons of people came in and picked up To-Go orders, seemed like a lot of regulars too. I’ll always say though that eating food as soon as possible is going to give you the best experience and there are $3 beers, so just chill and dine in if you can
Will be back to give the pizza a try cause the Calzone slapped

Wow, I haven’t had Pete’s in a very long time… And talk about fantastic! Great portion, flavor, and clean restaurant. A bit expensive, but worth it. Highly recommend.

My Husband and I were traveling through and staying at a nearby hotel we frequent. Decided to order a Spokane staple and it was delicious! We got the cheese pizza with Italian sausage. The cheese was really good, the sauce had a lot of flavor and the sausage was tasty with a bit of a spicy kick. So happy we ordered from here and got to taste a pizza place that has been open since 1972.
We also really loved the crust that was folded under at the end, instead of over the top. It added an extra crispness. Delivery was quick and it arrived hot and Tevin was polite and efficient. Will definitely order again if we are passing through!

Boy, they have changed… you do NOT get what you pay for. They have increased their prices which was understandable due to the pandemic, but the size of the calzone has been reduced and now its very small and even the kids were hungry right after eating. At what point do you get what you pay for? You lost our business, Petes!! ADELOS has way way better calzones that are HUGE and delicious.
