Very welcoming atmosphere! We were going through Kankakee in the a.m. so we had breakfast. It was VERY delicious We didn’t notice the very obvious pumpkin sign advertising “pumpkin pancakes w/caramel pecan sauce” even though we had already ate our very nice sized breakfast we ordered a half order and NO REGRETS!!! They were AMAZING! If you get a chance I would go and get the PUMPKIN PANCAKES!! We will definitely stop again!

Nice hometown restaurant. I had the Farmers Scrambler with 2 eggs over easy. Very good. Breakfast potatoes were very good. Nice staff and felt like home. Will be back for a lunch or dinner.

Just trash, watched the manager skip our table while greeting every non black table… served a horrible steak and egg breakfast that tasted like liver… ( old steak) paid premium prices for essential sized servings… so mad loris was closed today

One my family’s favorite places to go. Pretty wide variety on their menu and one of the few places in Kankakee that makes Eggs Benedict. Never have had a bad meal here.

Very nice restaurant. Great family dining has large inside bar. The food was very good the service was nice and our waitress was very friendly. They also serve breakfast all day so that was a bonus!

Nice, clean little bar/restaurant. Has a homey, welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a decent meal at reasonable price with good service, stop by this local favorite joint.
We stopped in around lunch but I wanted breakfast and was pleasantly surprised breakfast menu was still available. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash Scrambler, consisted of hash browns or breakfast potatoes (I went breakfast potatoes) corned beef hash and 2 eggs(I went scrambled) order of toast comes with. If you don’t like the canned hash, don’t order this! I actually grew up with it and like it. Wish I wouldnt have ordered the eggs scrambled, lil dry for my taste. All in all, I enjoyed my meal.
My friend got a Chopped Steak Dinner with baked potato and corn. She seemed to like her meal and the only complaint she had was about the corn, said it was really chewy.
Service was very friendly and attentive!! We’ll definitely be back.
