I got off work early today and had a crazy craving for a big warm gooey cinnamon roll. I literally googled ‘best cinnamon rolls near me’ and Millstone came up first. I’d never been and I live very close so I decided to head downtown.

Unfortunately, their cinnamon rolls are on specific days. However when I stepped inside, the smells of the bread and pastries begged me to get SOMETHING. So I did!

The girls up front were super helpful and let me browse without rushing me. They both gave me recommendations and I found that very helpful. Overall I purchased an Almond Croissant, a piece of S’mores Bread Pudding, a Blueberry Lavender Muffin, and a loaf of Japanese Milk Bread, which was marked down since it was made the previous day.

I personally don’t like Almond Croissants, but I mentioned that my sister did, hence why it came home with me. One of the girls said that she was obsessed with them, that they are one of her favorite things. I admitted that I’ve had them before but they always were kind of ‘Meh’. She insisted I take one home for myself and added it my bag, no charge.

Well, I just had a bite and let me tell you– ITS AMAZING. My entire view on them has changed.

I am super happy with my purchases, the service I received, and can’t wait to come back on a Saturday for the cinnamon rolls!

Adorable bakery with awesome coffee! This place had a nice steady flow of customers at 1 o’clock, most were buying the loaves of fresh bread. We just stopped for a coffee but I was truly tempted by the pastries as well. We had just eaten otherwise I would have grabbed one. Our cold brew coffee was really delicious and we are slightly picky about coffee. The caramel cold foam was a delight, glad we added it. Stop in and check this place out – it’s really great!

Cute bakery, amazing pastries and bread. Visiting town and was suggested this bakery by our airbnb host – did not disappoint. Was so good the first day that we went back for breakfast the next day as well 🙂

Persistent Dreams
We’ve been wanting to visit Millstone since they opened and we finally had a chance. We were not disappointed! Everything we had was delicious. We tried the sourdough bread, a curry chicken toast, raspberry muffin, peanut butter pastry, and latte. We will definitely return to try more of their offerings. Plenty of parking, friendly service and lots of seating. Highly recommend!

Yasmina did such an incredible job making our coffee today! She made it how she would want it made for herself and most people don’t put in that level of service anymore. Great experience 🙂

Quality craftsmanship! Delicious creations by people who know how to make pastries and bread. The lavender honey latte…so good. Today I tried the fire roasted corn and jalapeño danish and it was just

This was my 4th time coming to this bakery and I’ve had enough. I love coming on weekend mornings for a cinnamon roll and the AMAZING multigrain loaf but it won’t be happening anymore in the near future. There is this extremely passive aggressive worker who is blonde and short. I’m unsure of her name but I think it’s Lola? This time I asked for my bread to be sliced and she huffed and puffed and rolled her eyes and made it seem like I was bothering her by asking her to do her job. My 7 year old asked for water and she again rolled her eyes and pointed at the table behind us. We didn’t know at the time it was self serve and my daughter was really hurt. This IS NOT the first time I’ve gotten attitude from this worker. I forgot about it the first time because people have bad days. This is an amazing establishment and I would recommend people to go but if they want this business to last, they should really consider about who they have working the front counter. This is really unfortunate but I can’t come here anymore because she has really upset me and ruined my weekends.

Bought what was labeled Mocha Biscoff Scone. Unfortunately it was very dark underneath and was just filled with chocolate chips. It tasted only of chocolate. The breads are ok, so we’ll just stick to that.

I had the chocolate croissant and it was delicious. The selection of baked treats was a little slim, but they had a nice selection of fresh baked bread.
