Stopped by Big Grill BBQ and wow everything was delicious. I got the brisket platter with mac & cheese and coleslaw, and my dad ordered the fried shrimp and whiting platter with fries and corn bread. You can tell everything is homemade and fresh. The seasoning was spot on and the portions were generous. No exaggeration, my dad mentioned how good it was at least 10 more times that day – he couldn’t stop talking about it. Happy to have found our go-to BBQ spot in the neighborhood!

I visited Big Grill yesterday after ordering a delicious fall off the bones BBQ rib sandwich and a fish sandwich. The chefs were preparing my order and I could smell the BBQ when I walked up to the door. The rib sandwich was more than enough. The ribs were meaty, juicy and delicious and the sauce was outstanding. The fish was good as well but my mouth was craving the ribs. I highly recommend Big Grill BBQ and an ice cold Corona any day of the week. William Streeter can burn, family.

Let me just start with this place is the black owned. I have eaten food from every single Bbq/soul food place in philly from dewights to sweet Lucy to mikes I mean all of them. This place by far is the first place to make me feel like I’m not eating franchise bbq and taste like REAL! BBQ. I ordered the 1/2 slab platter with Mac and yams. I literally started doing the feet dance when I took my first bite. I swear they are pleasant, fast and make the best damn food! I’ve been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks and I keep getting the same thing but I will eventually try the brisket because it looks delicious! They gave me a sample when I came in. Anyway just this is the best AUTHENTIC BBQ in Philly hands down!

Big Grill was absolutely delicious! I had the ribs and they were 10/10. And if you go you have to get the Mac and cheese. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Feels like home. Will definitely be back!
