My first experience here wasn’t that great. It was overwhelmingly busy, nowhere to sit, and staff was unfriendly. I got a ham and cheese croissant and it had the tiniest piece of ham in it. It was kinda funny but still tasted good. I decided to give it another chance, it was still very busy and the staff was still unfriendly but the food was good! We got a ham and cheese on a baguette (our favorite), turkey and cheese on sourdough, chicken pesto red pepper on baguette, and two donuts. We got the sugar and the chocolate pistachio donut. The pistachio donut might’ve been the best donut I have ever had. I would return just for that donut. Prices aren’t too bad either. For three of us we spent around $50.

It’s a nice new bakery on walnut street!!
I was just waiting for it to open as I used to see coming soon from couple of months!!
Berry pastry was extremely delicious!
Also tried Almond pastry which was also good! There are limited options for people who are allergic to eggs, as only 1-2 vegan options. But overall it’s a nice bakery with Paris style pastries.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and it was fantastic. The clean modern atmosphere matches the fine delicious food. We loved the self serve style and the variety. It was very hard to choose just a few things to try. I had a crossaunt with ham and cheese along with a crossaunt dog. Other members of my party went for the sweet goods. All and all we can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all again.

Everything was delicious! Strawberry crescent was my favorite but the tarimasu bites were a close second. Coffee bun was way better than what I expected its crunchy outside an soft inside

Much better than the McKnight Paris Baguette branch, thankfully. This branch actually has stocked pastries and a wider variety of options.
The cake here can get up $58, which seems absurdly expensive. There are lots of sandwich options (more so than Tous LesJoures) but not so great. I tried the eggsalad sandwich but was disappointed.

It’s a bakery where you grab a tray, you grab your stuff, and then exit out. Seats, and other things available, but not a cool place to settle, just seats. Everything is clean, and the food tastes great, even the egg salad sandwich has a nice flavor to it.
The coffee waa also good, close to a homemade espresso.

Other than the cashiers are lack of training, do not know how to pack pastries properly without breaking the apart, I also found a piece of hair in the coffee bun I bough. I ate the bun at home so could not complain to the store immediately

Now this is what I’m talking about! This location is my go to from now on. Unlike the filthy and unprofessional McKnight location; the Shady Side location is clean, and staff is actually focused on their duties. Happy with our items and experience.

I recently visited Paris Baguette in Shadyside. I love the new location. Their baked goods are exceptional. I also encountered a very friendly staff member named Taha. Taha was engaging and steered me in the right direction for a birthday surprise I wanted to pick up for a friend. We loved the cake Taha. Thank you so much.
