I’ve loved this place since high school (20 years now) and idk what they’ve been doing differently but somehow the food has recently gotten even better. Their salsas especially are a true delicacy. My husband and I noticed the last 2 times we ordered (fiesta nachos, super fiesta burrito, torta) the food was noticeably more delicious. Keep it up!

Taco Loco is so good. And have a consistency like no other. Though sometimes their spicy salsa can be wildly off. From not spicy at all to quite spicy. The staff are also so friendly and welcoming. Taco Loco is the best!

Don’t go here if your vegan/vegetarian. There’s no alternative meat/protein option and they will charge you the same price even with meat removed. The hibiscus tea was so bland it tasted like nothing, meanwhile the limeade was bitter like they threw whole limes with the skin on and blended it. The workers were really nice and service was fast. Hilariously, the French fries were good.
I have a rather plain and simple palate, and this was just unappealing and had zero flavor. Taco Bell tastes better…the next day.
Unfortunate to have to leave this review. I would advise people to avoid eating here.

It average and ok if your into lots of beans and rice in your burritos. Served covered in red or green sauce on ceramic with metal flatware and small paper napkins in a cafe dispenser. Chips and pico provided while you wait a while. Chips average, salsa was very good, red sauce was not very hot, nor was the food very hot. Basic bean like flavor. Pastor very sparse and diced finely. Did not seem spicy, but hard to tell due to its particulate nature. Not a good value. Unlikely to return.

We ate way too many burritos on this trip. Came back to this place twice. They serve these as wet burritos on a plate. But, after the crazy guy came in and had a fit because his burrito was falling apart and he couldn’t eat it, we found that they will make you one you can hold in your hand.
I had the Chili Colorado burrito (the one with the red sauce.)
The wife had a bean and cheese with rice and green sauce.
The boys had a chicken burrito (pictured with the lettuce and sour cream and red sauce).
I highly recommend the bathroom. It’s like using your aunt’s bathroom. It might not make sense. But, that’s the best way I know how to put it.

Taco Loco is my favorite place to go in Fortuna. Best quality food by far. Fresh and tasty. Quick service. Friendly staff.
I absolutely love there Chile Reanos. I’ve eaten them all over there’s are the best. I have never been disappointed with anything off the menu.
And they stayed open through the pandemic.
If you go for lunch try to go before 11:30. Or you may have to wait. Or call it in. The high school is nearby and can get crowded at lunch.
