Pandan Bistro is predominantly South East Asia cuisines. We brought ingredients and cooking techniques throughout the world to create the modern Asian menu. We put together our favorites and added our own unique twists to them. The menu is a straightforward, casually written which allows you to dine any way that you’d like. Guests may enjoy traditional meals with an appetizer, entree and dessert. Others can order cocktails and a table full of appetizers and skewers to share.

Came here for a Friday night dinner and it was awesome! The food was so flavorful and unique and the service was top notch. I had the cauliflower curry which was a delicious slightly spicy curry full of flavor. The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well and the staff was happy to make non-meat substitutions for the vegetarians of the group.
If you’re looking for a place to eat with good vibes and tasty food, eat at Pandan!

I am so glad this place opened! I’ve been here multiple times and everything I’ve ordered is so good. You can tell Pandan Bistro takes great pride in their food. Everything is high quality, the presentation is beautiful (many of the plated dishes are lined with banana leaf), and service is excellent. Please dine in if you can! My favorite dishes so far are Laksa Kare, Soto Ayam, and Mie Goreng, but there’s still so much more that I need to try! This is also another added plus but not related to the food: I love their music selection as well!

We were on our way back to New York and we’re unexpectedly passed Poughkeepsie and noticed Pandan Bistro. It has great foods and great ambience. There were 8 of us, we tried their Nasi Goreng Beef Brisket, Mi Goreng, Curry Laksa, Nasi Lemak, and some appetizers. Foods were fresh, tasted good, and all the good aspects +++! People of Poughkeepsie, you’re lucky having Pandan Bistro there.

Came here based on a verbal recommendation from an Indonesian person. The South East Asian food here is excellent, I highly recommend to those looking to try food from this region or just something new, it is comparable or better than those you can find in NYC. Started with corn fritter (must try) and gado gado (peanut sauce salad). And the mains Nasi Goreng (fried rice – superbly separated grain by grain), Nasi Lemak (coconut milk infused rice) with a juicy fried chicken, Laksa (curry noodles with seafood), Beef rendang (slow cook braised beef brisket).
A must try place and those who like Mama Chow at Southport, CT should come here.
To the four partners King, Alfa, Widi, Dimas, thank you for your great food and wish you great success.

Delicious food, great taste, and attentive service. We tried the chicken burger and chicken Pad Thai, both bursting with flavors. It was a bit disappointing that not everything was halal, as I really wanted to indulge in Beef Rendang. However, the free iced tea they treated us to was a lovely gesture. The portion sizes were satisfying, and everything tasted authentic.

On our way up we decided to stop and try this restaurant. Being from Indonesia, we share similar food backgrounds so I can confidently say this food is legit. My three year old loves their food too, and that is no small feat!

Finally there is an authentic South East Asian restaurant in Poughkeepsie. I like the rice dishes with the pandan leaf aroma, and the beef is tender and juicy. There are non-spicy beef and chicken for me to choose. Definitely I will go again to try the beef brisket which they didn’t have it this time.

This meal was soo good. Rarely do I get Indonesian food so it was a treat. A little bit expensive but this is worth it every once in a while. First time trying Tempeh, they made it super good. I’d love to come back and get more. I ordered take out right before they were closing, grateful for the staff. Was able to get a tasty Thai iced tea as well 🙂 looked cute inside but ate in my car.
