Surprisingly good compared to Costco, Sam’s, and other grocery store pizza. 16” pizza unlimited toppings for $10. There seems to be only one crust and a moderate selection of toppings. Honestly, I would probably choose this over the bigger national pizza chains.

You need to step out of the store to get there because it looks like they converted a cart storage area. There are no fountain drink or water dispensers, so come prepared or just buy a drink in the store.

South Flo is HEB woodlands Markets new hottest pizza joint. Pizza was awesome. Price? $10 any way you like it. Take out…sure. Dine in…you can do that too. HEB has a fully enclosed outdoor patio with huge windows that open for fresh air and 2 big screens that play the latest games. I recommend to all. Enjoy.

The pizza is decent, nothing to write home about. The concept is a great idea but it’s just not well executed. I will order online sometimes prior to a trip to HEB and when we go to pick up, they never know about the order. A few times they’ve said ”oh our iPad is dead. Did you order online?” Long after it’s supposed to be ready. Today I showed up 5 minutes after it said it would be done and when I simply asked if it was ready, the guy said “no, we had a bunch of orders ahead of yours.” And didn’t give a time line or anything. In the future, I’ll skip ordering online and only stop in for pizza if I don’t see a bunch of people waiting.

I’ve had so many issues here it’s insane, mainly with how unacceptably slow they are. We placed our order in store and went shopping. 40 mins later we returned to find out our pizza hadn’t even been started and it would be another 20 mins until they got to it. I’m sorry but in no other restaurant or pizza shop would waiting over an hour for pizza be acceptable regardless of how busy it is. This same experience had happened to us at least 5 times. This time we asked for a refund and were given no apology. This place needs to be reported and HEB needs to find a solution whether it means hiring more employees or what because this isn’t okay.

Finally tried it, and I absolutely love the pizza. Unlike other pizza, it is so flavorful and not stuffed by sauces, which I can test the difference of the ingredients. South Flo is now my go to place.

I wanted to shoutout the specific guys I saw working tonight because they were all busting their butt and dealing with a crazy amount of orders and doing really great work. I’ve seen several of them working super hard every time i’ve come in for a pizza and just wanted to express my appreciation for the great food they make. Their names are:
– Victor
– Romero
– Joel
– Nick
– Jacob
(spelling may not be right on some of those)
Suggestions to make South Flo even better:
1. Add a monitor that shows customers names who’s pizzas are done. Right now they only call the persons name and after that, the customer has to interrupt their flow and ask if their pizza is done. Sometimes customers place their order and then grocery shop, so having a monitor with their name would help the guys focus on making more pizzas without interruptions.
2. They need to add a bar/tvs next to the pizza counter so people can hang out and drink their 2 free happy hour drinks. This is bringing so much business for HEB, they should definitely double down. Something like Whole Foods at Hughes Landing is doing.
Keep up the great work! Excited to see more South Flo’s at other HEB’s!

I always try to be noce and patient but this time like always Samina and Judith were to rud and slow, it usually takes 8 to 12 minutes for a pizza to be ready we were only 2 people in line and they took 35 min for my pizza to be ready, when I ask them how long more it was going to take Samina said oh Im sorry Im about to start working on them.!! Like seriously y’all were taking about husbands and life and not working on the orders.!!! This is not ready in minutes.!!!
