This was my first time visiting this establishment, and unfortunately, I most likely will not be returning. I initially planned to order the Wednesday special, but the cashier informed me they were out of chicken. When I asked if they could substitute another item at the special price, I was told no — I would have to pay full price. It’s frustrating as a customer to miss out on an advertised special due to inventory issues that are out of my control.
Secondly, I asked if they accepted tap-to-pay, and I was told yes — but with a $2 additional charge. I have never encountered an extra fee for tap payments, and I did not see any signage posted about this policy.
I truly tried to support a local business, but the overall experience and customer service felt unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere next time — likely back to Original Louisiana Chicken – Wheatland Road.

Got the 5 pc catfish. It came with peppers and bread. No tartar sauce or any other condiments were offered/given. The fish was fried entirely too hard for my liking. Most of the fish was hard and crusty with little meat. The next day I tried to eat more but it was worse than the day I got it. It was so much grease in the paper towel. And I ate the leftover pc cold. The fish was mildly seasoned. The batter was the only thing that seemed a little seasoned but the fish itself was not seasoned at all. I fry better fish at my house. Respectfully.

So I was told about this place from my friend and I had to try for myself. I literally was told “ you’ll be back” by a customer… brother definitely did not lie! I only tasted it, now I’m about to smash it! Fries were cold. The young lady who took my order was not a people person at all but the lady who gave me my order was super nice. Location is perfect!

My husband Order the fried catfish $27 for 6 pieces food was great. BUT COSTUMER SERVICE HORRIBLE!! My husband requested for his meal to go he asked for tartar sauce they insisted it was in the bag my husband and for extra and they didn’t give it to him he comes home explaining the situation to me which we checked the whole bag and no condiments were in the bag so I called the restaurant my self spoke with someone and they also was very rude I didn’t even get name wasn’t try to argue. I just hung up! It will be our first and last time to go there we’ll just the extra mile to get better service! I don’t understand why and how it’s still in business? Does the owner not care about these reviews? I’m just now seeing they have horrible reviews

After placing a order for pickup arrived shortly after 12pm on Sunday walked inside and approached the empty counter waited about 6 minutes and never saw an employee no employee ever showed up to assist me. This was terrible customer service won’t be returning.

I keep finding myself ordering catfish and chicken several times a week not to mention their fried pork chops as well! The food is so delicious and made to order hot and bubbling, one taste and it’ll have you coming back for more!

I’ve had their fish in the past and it was excellent. This is where you come if you want some “home cooked” down south fried catfish. The fries are lacking, as well as the “feel” and visuals in the waiting area, that’s why its 4/5 stars. It’s in a slightly shady location as well, right next door to what I call the “Hood Mart” gas station. If you come late enough you can might even be able to get some pirated DVDs from the bootleg man that hangs out in the shopping center.

To start off with, like many other reviews I have seen for this restaurant, this restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I have nothing against hole-in-the-wall restaurants but the location is a sketchy one, which sometimes attracts suspicious activity. I do admire the workers’ dedication to their jobs. However, the restaurant’s customer service is questionable and tacky. When you order food over the phone, they will tell you 15 minutes, but you end up waiting for an hour. This establishment is a decent place to get food when you don’t feel like cooking, but the wait is extraordinarily painful. The pricing is expensive based on the food quality. What I have noticed lately about this establishment’s food quality is that the food tastes very well but it comes in very, very small pieces; today, I ordered a 10 piece catfish meal and the pieces were smaller than chicken drumettes and wingettes. Before I discovered this, I found out that the fish was cold when they served it to me. When I went to respectfully address these situations, they refused to give me a refund and they blamed it on their delivery truck. With all of this information being said, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone and I am not going here again.

The bone in catfish was really good. Well seasoned as well. We only asked for two 2 pieces, and they gave us 8 total. Definitely satisfied.
