Visited with some friends for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the venue.
Was well worth the wait and visit.
Highly recommend the Tawa chicken.
Food was flavoursome, perfectly cooked and the portions adequate.
The restaurant has ample parking with a private room that can booked for events or family gathering.
The layout was great across two floors with reasonable spacing between tables.
Staff very friendly and knowledgeable with the menu.

We ate early on a Wednesday night so cannot comment on the atmosphere but could imagine it would be really lively. The food and service were excellent, portion sizes were amazing. Will definitely be going there again.

What a wonderful find. Did not realise the pub had been changed into a restaurant, serving great Indian Cuisine. Lots of flavour and heat added if requested. Tasty dishes served by friendly staff in a tranquil setting.
Will be visiting again. Good for small groups or individuals. Clearly caters for larger parties also.

Had one of the absolute best Indian’s I have ever had – food was absolutely amazing with some very different from the norm dishes. The flavours aromas were amazing. The decor and service were fabulous and the hospitality and friendliness of Nas the owner/manager made us feel really appreciated and welcome. 6*

The food itself was good, but unfortunately the overall experience was completely let down by the customer service and poor management.

On arrival, we were left standing in a crowded entrance area for around 10–15 minutes without any acknowledgement that we were waiting to be seated. We eventually had to ask a member of staff ourselves. The restaurant appeared clearly overbooked, with inadequate parking for the number of customers present.

We waited approximately 20 minutes for drinks and around 1 hour 30 minutes for our food, which is unacceptable. While delays can happen, there was little communication or reassurance throughout.

One younger member of staff who served us intermittently was excellent — polite, friendly, and clearly doing his best to keep things positive despite the circumstances. He showed genuine customer care and tried to bring some light and smiles to what was otherwise a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, he and other junior staff appeared overworked and were left to deal with unhappy customers without adequate support.

The manager, Eloise, was dismissive and defensive when approached. She did not seem interested in resolving issues or acknowledging the general dissatisfaction in the restaurant. At one point, when informed by a younger staff member that a table had asked to speak to a manager, she reportedly responded, “I don’t care, I’m not dealing with that.” This is extremely disappointing — as a manager, handling complaints and supporting staff should be a priority, not avoided.

We visited around a year ago and experienced similar parking issues, though the service then was better. Sadly, this visit showed no improvement in management or organisation.

While the food was good, it simply wasn’t good enough to justify returning and dealing with such poor service and lack of leadership. A real shame, as the restaurant has potential if management and customer care are taken seriously.

Great food, shockingly unprofessional service

Booked for 31st January 2026 for a surprise birthday dinner. From the moment we arrived, the service from Eloise behind the bar was rude and unwelcoming. No greeting, no manners – just abrupt, dismissive comments. This attitude continued throughout the evening and was overheard by several tables, many of whom also commented on her rudeness. ( she should not be in hospitality)

We were seated at 6:50pm and didn’t have our order taken until 8:00pm, despite the restaurant being quiet when we arrived. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and badly managed. Other tables left due to long waits, complained, or refused to pay as food arrived cold.

The two young lads working were polite and apologetic but clearly new and unsupported.

The food itself was excellent, hot, full of flavour and well portioned, which makes the experience even more frustrating.

Unprofessional front-of-house behaviour completely ruined what should have been a special evening. With better management and attitude, this place could be great.

Food was really nice, lamb with the main was beautifully cooked, falls apart. Service was really good and waiters had personality. The only issue I had was the wait, food takes a long time to come out and there was a period of time where I was without a drink as they cleared the empty when taking the starters but didn’t prompt for another. Only a small thing but they could have had atleast 2-3 more drinks out of me if they’d been present.

Went here with a work colleague early evening. We hadn’t booked and thought we would just chance it. When we arrived the car park was full. Thought we wouldn’t get a table but went in anyway. We were told that we would have to wait a while. 20 mins later we were sat at a table upstairs. A lovely pint of Kingfisher lager each to start proceedings! Poppadoms and dips were brought out straight away. We decided on the mixed kebab to start. It came out on a hot sizzling skillet with a plate of salad. The mixed kebawas superb. All the various meats were moist, tender and tasty. I had Chicken Jalfrezi, rice and Keema Nan. My friend had Chicken Korma, rice and a Cheese Nan. Both the curries were lovely. Superb meal in a nice setting. Service was excellent by friendly, helpful waiters. Definitely going back and would recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.

Lovely place to dine, excellent service, the gentleman who looked after our table was funny and attentive. My veggie meal was very tasty, portions very generous. I took half my meal home with me. We took our time to eat, at no point were we rushed or asked to give the table back, which is refreshing.

Food was amazing but service was slow due to staff shortage. We were a big party which was hard for them but had to wait a long time for us all to get our dishes then had to wait similarly for the rice. However the food was really good. My daughter didn’t like the korma though, it was exceptionally coconutty.
