Kobe. It’s called Kobe from the inspiration of the city, and the exquisite quality the city exhibits through its tradition in food. We all know that “Kobe Beef” is some magical piece of steak that we hold on a pedestal as the best tasting beef on the planet; it’s a culinary triumph at the genetic level. Well, at Kobe Japan Sushi and Steakhouse Bar, we not only serve our customers the best Kobe-style beef around, we present it in a style known as “Teppanyaki”—a cook-show, if you will, and trust me, you will be pleased. The master chefs here will give you a cooking show like you’ve never experienced. Fresh Scallops and Jumbo Shrimp, Maine Lobster and Kobe Filet Mignon will be grilled and playfully cooked right in front of you.
Japanese steakhouse & bar that dramatically prepares its dishes at open grills at diners’ tables.

The service was excellent. Fast and attentive. Granted, it was very slow, probably because the Super Bowl was on.
The food was beautiful and delicious. Nice sized portions and everything was good. Not a single dish disappointed.
We had a variety of sushi, I believe we had 6 rolls, seaweed salad, crab and cucumber salad, fried rice, gyoza, avocado egg roll, seafood miso and it was all really good.
Prices were very reasonable. There were 3 of us and we ordered way too much food. We ate maybe half of what we ordered and left with enough to have dinner again tomorrow. I also ordered a $9 Moscow mule. All of that and our total was $130
The rolls were just “ok” nothing that requires an outstanding comment. I’ve had better.
The pricing was reasonable for the appetizers and also the rolls. However, charging $4.95 for a glass of soda (regardless of refills) is crazy.
Service I gave 4 stars, I can tell they are trying, but something deeper goes on in this establishment, to the extent that the service seems a bit, well, “fake”
Sadly, but not really, I won’t be returning.
Our server, who was wearing his hat tilted to the side and had cut in his eyebrows took our order incorrectly. We ordered spicy shrimp and chicken, along with a tuna sushi taco. However, our order was brought out incorrectly, and we never received the tuna sushi taco at all. When we addressed the mistake, there was no apology or effort made to correct the situation in a professional manner.Additionally, when we informed the chef that we had not ordered chicken and beef, his attitude noticeably changed. After that, he seemed to ignore us for the remainder of the meal, which made the experience uncomfortable. To make matters worse, while we were still eating and had not finished our food, another staff member removed our plates without asking us. This was extremely disappointing and made us feel rushed and disregarded. We chose your restaurant expecting a pleasant hibachi experience, but unfortunately, the service did not meet that expectation. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these concerns with your staff so that other guests do not have a similar experience.
We chose to sit at the Habachi table and chef Rocky took care of us.
My friend and I shared an order of mixed tempura off the regular menu and both had the NY Steak and Scallop dinner and upgraded to the bacon fried rice (I’m told you can have them add fresh garlic too, which I will next time) . Everything was absolutely delicious and seasoned well. I washed my meal down with a watermelon mint cooler, which was refreshing on a hot day.
Reservations are recommended as Kobe is a popular place.
Be aware, while there is parking, the lot is on the smaller side and is shared by other restaurants so fills up quickly on busy nights. You may have to park on the street.
