Food was delicious ordered a bandeja Paisa, frigoles delicious but had to order an extra portion because it was not enough frigoles on the plate. That cost me an extra $8 a bit too much but the taste was there. Also, the empanadas were on point, crunchy, full of filling, and the aji was amazing. I order the beef and the bocadillo with cheese.. great taste. I would have to say that the place need to be updated and maintain. Its got the potential but tables shouldnt be wabblely and the title shouldn’t be uneven or disheveled. Lastly, there was only one waiter, she was nice but only her taking care of customer was too much. At the beginning the music was too low and it felt like an abandoned place. Then other customers came in and asked for better music and then it was better!!

Although this place has good food. Specially the Banderas paisa. I have to admit. I was a bit shocked at the service fee. Its like charging for eating at their restaurant. First time experience for me. Kind of unfortunate as it is 15% of what ever you consume..wa there with a friends. Between food and drinks it was a pretty decent and hefty bill. Which we were okay with. It was just the 15% service charge. Might consider a new Colombian restaurant.

But food wise, 5 out 5.

My husband and I have been coming to this Colombian restaurant for about 5 years, even though we live out of town. We’ve always loved their bandeja paisa — it’s what keeps us coming back 3–5 times a year. Unfortunately, what hasn’t changed over all those years is the service.

Every time we visit, the waitresses are rude or dismissive — especially toward women. They act overly friendly with the men but make female guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We’ve tried to ignore it in the past because the food is good, but this last visit was the final straw.

From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt off. The manager kept staring at me for no reason, and the bartender was clearly trying to get my husband’s attention — even taking off her jacket mid-meal to reveal a skimpy top. It was inappropriate and unprofessional.

To make matters worse, while I was eating, someone reached over me (without saying excuse me) just to grab a used avocado peel and straw wrapper. Completely disrespectful. The women’s bathroom was also in terrible shape — clearly neglected.

Then, there was a notice on the table saying all dine-in orders are charged a 15% service fee, plus a warning about raw or undercooked meat that made no sense. Fine — we accepted it.

When the bill came, it was $79.88 for two bandeja paisas and two waters. We paid and signed, but when I got back to my car and checked my phone, the charge was for a different amount. I went back inside to clarify, and they showed me a different receipt than what we had signed. The excuse was “old checks sometimes stay in the folder.” That’s unacceptable.

Throughout it all, the manager stood there staring at me again, stone-faced and rude. I smiled politely, and she just glared back.

At that point, I knew — we’re done. The food may be good, but no dish is worth feeling disrespected and uncomfortable every single time.

If anyone knows a Colombian restaurant with great food and great service, please recommend one — because we won’t be going back here.

¡Si ellas solo hablan español! We were at USCIS for the day and were looking for Colombian food and this was the best in the area! Service was so nice, food came out so fast, hot and delicious! 100% recommended. The natural juices are great as well!

It was my first time coming to this restaurant and ordering take out. The restaurant was extremely clean. Didn’t know they had a bar and they had an artist singing. I felt a bit out of place, I had just gotten out of work and my attire wasn’t the best. The staff there could tell it was my first time there, they were trying to suggest different items from the menu for me to try. The items on the menu are a but pricey, but the portions and the taste make up for it. I ordered 4 empanadas, 2 chicken with shrimp and 2 carne. The salsa that comes with it is amazing, definitely a must add. One of them didn’t make it on to the photo cause I was starving and ate it on my drive home. I highly recommend the empanadas they are delicious and crunchy, very different from the empanadas I’m used to made with flour discs, these are made with cornmeal. They are great! I also ordered the chicken breast with sauteed onions, white rice and beans. Although I waited for about a half hour for my food, the food was great, everything was fresh and tasted delicious. No way you can finish their plates in one sitting, I got full fast and still had leftovers for the next day. Would definitely visit again.
