We love their patio! They had more than just the cornhole, bags game I have shown here. Had a giant Connect Four game as well, I Love! Lol, a giant Jenga! Our Favorite family game at home, and another big family game that I’ve forgotten now actually, lol. But, the outside seating area consists of 3 picnic tables, as well as a couple of sets of lounge, and other chairs, and small tables to sit and just enjoy a drink or dessert in your lap, very casual and relaxed style.
The lights strung up with the summertime sunsets, makes for an adorable family/friends, or Romantic atmosphere, whichever you’re needing, and depending on the crowd of course, lol.
I Love when any place has Outside seating as I am a more “Outdoorsy”, nature loving chica! . The guys, (who I’m guessing are probably the owners?), provided Excellent service! ⭐️ Hospitality was on point, customer service skills, on point, food service skills, on point!
I ordered their Elotés, which was the shaved off the cob version, great, but I actually prefer the whole cob version but, I wasn’t asked my preference so I had no idea that’s what I was getting. The amount that I received was definitely the Smallest serving of shaved Eloté I’ve ever been served by anyone and yet a bit higher priced. Usually a serving in the burger-sized, style of Styrofoam container, is a Completely Filled up on one side, Size for $5. This was not full at all, yet it was $6. Nothing horrible about that of course, just disappointing and surprising for how great of service they had provided, thus far is all.
But it was as delicioso as you’d expect any serving of well seasoned and condimented, Eloté to be. ⭐️
I also ordered the chicken tostadas with Everything on them, including aquacaté, (avavcado). I was disappointed to find no onions, and no seasoning flavor on the kind of, cubed bits of chicken on the tosdada. Was a bit surprised to discover the pollo like that upon my first bite. Not shredded, not cooked in any kind of chilé sauce at all, so pretty flavorless and the cubes just kept falling off the tosdada, of course, gravity, lol, which is why shredded chicken is supposed to be used for that. The lack of onions and aquacaté, and the lack of a real, Mexicano chilé sauce, and only offered tasteless “hot sauces” in green or red, made for a pretty flavor-lacking and difficult to enjoy eating, tosdada for sure.
My husband, mi esposo chulito! lol, had their carné asada tacos dinner that included rice and beans. The tacos looked really good and authentic, and he said they tasted that way as well. So, on point again!
The beans and rice were just okay he said. They looked really good, and like they were supposed to for Mexicano fair, but I did try them and the frijoles, beans, were on point but, the arroz, the rice, tasted mostly like grease and not the flavoring it should have had.
Oh yes! Their Horchata drink was soo perfect to my liking! No chalkiness at all, just smooth, creamy, deliciousness in a cup with the perfect amount of cinnamon and vanilla and everything! Would Absolutely Recommend that!
My husband also got an ice cream, waffle cone for dessert and Loved it! So their desserts seem to be very on point as well!
All in all we still very much Enjoyed this cute, little, great addition to our community and would go there again for some diffrent foods next time, lol. And we’d recommend them to others, just with a caveat about what our particular food experiences were.
They serve Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream here, and it’s absolutely delicious! With so many flavors to choose from, it’s hard to go wrong—every option is a winner. This spot is a bit tucked away between two buildings, so keep an eye out—it’s a hidden gem for sweet treats you won’t want to miss!
I love the food and desserts
The Brito’s always do it up right.
Update: still the best. There’s a new copycat around town that I’ll never try…
Update to the update: It’s still the best – ask for the bad ass taco dinner!
