Great find! Authentic Italian with that good home cooked feel. Can be busy and loud. Always worth it! Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic! Service is timely and friendly. Definitely worth a try.

My family has been here multiple times, and usually its pretty decent but last night was a mess. They were severely short staffed, after being told we would have to wait a half hour even tho the restaurant was only using 1 of the dining areas we were finally seated after about 45 mins. We were also encouraged to eat in the nar area as it was totally empty, but we were celebrating a birthday and I wanted it to be a nice atmosphere. The poor server was one of only 2 working so it was very slow. We were told dont worry its worth the wait…it was not. I ordered the cheese and meat ravioli, my dish was barely warm when it arrived. the cheese ravioli tasted good but the meat ravioli tasted reheated, definitely not fresh and not even as good as a microwave dinner. I eneded up throwing it all up at 4am so I know there was something off/expired. It’s a shame, Pantusos has been around for a long time, but for the quality and the price, there are better options in the valley. Won’t be going back.

I have been wanting to try this place for months, after realizing it was so close to home, was able to stop in to try the lunch menu. Too many choices, and I decided to try the Godfather sandwich from the lunch menu. Ive eaten about 30 different Italian sandwiches from across the country, and this was by far the best. The bread appears to be homemade, with perfect texture, crunch and spring! The meats, which are plentiful, seem to be high end imported varieties, with 2 salami, and a wonderful spicy capocola, and they do not skimp!!! Delicious shredded provolone, and a very nice array of fresh lettuces, and veggies, even some black olives. This sandwich was Top Notch hands down.!! Cannot wait to come back and try the Pizzas and Incredible pasta dishes. All kitchen items are from scratch, and you can tell they care about their creations! Hands down Best Italian Food in GJ!!! There is a reason this place has been opened for so many years! Owners are super cool, and I will support this Business again and again. Thank You Chris and Krista!!!!

I was excited to try this spot because it looks cool inside, but it was so disappointing, dang it! The bartender didn’t know most of the wines on the menu, but eventually figured out which ones I was asking for. They have a wine flight for $17 for 4 pours, but most of the wines weren’t very good. The food was underwhelming. Not very flavorful and lacking in seasoning, leaving us with upset stomachs. I got the manicotti and my boyfriend got the surf and turf. It tasted like it was just plain ricotta inside the manicotti noodles and the surf and turf came with plain noodles next to unseasoned steak. We subbed mussels for shrimp because he has a severe allergy to crustaceans (crab, lobster, shrimp) but can eat mollusks (clams, scallops, mussels) “houses not armor,” we joke, and repeated the allergy to make sure she understood but it didn’t seem like she was hearing it, confirmed by the receipt noting “shrimp allergy.” It did come with a good amount of mussels and he didn’t have a reaction, which was good. The server was also cold and brusque and only warmed up a little towards the end of the meal. Had high hopes for this place but it kinda failed on every front.

Good but not great. The Tortellini dish my wife had was too sweet to enjoy. She did not finish it, and we did not take it home. The SCAMPI PIGNOLI I had was good but heavy on the sauce, light on the fixings and noodles. I finish it and was still hungry.

First time and pretty disappointing. Waitress did not seem very knowledgeable of the menu. Wrong dish was brought out which was acknowledged the chefs mistake but second glass of wine took just as long to come out as the remake. It’s Friday night ordered tiramisu for dessert but they were out. Finally asked the waitress for change her initial response was she could not do that but checked her apron and said she could break a $20 for 2 $10’s. They have a bar- pretty sure they can make change. With the order mistake would have thought they would have offered a discount or the dessert for free but nothing. With the lack in customer service not really worth spending the money for the food.

Not great, not bad.Won’t go back. Sad. Someone doesn’t care. Braised beef was very tough, Chicken Parmesan was one piece with ordinary spaghetti. Waitress was nice. Cook brought out the dishes (I would of been embarrassed to serve this). Owners should know better.

Went to try something different then Pizza and chicken wings. But it was not great food for the price. Ordered a couple of drinks. 20 minutes after we ordered drinks cucumber jalepeno margarita and cocoa Rita margarita waitress came back and told us they no longer do those. So we ordered 2 italian margaritas instead it took 40 minutes before we actually got them. The entrees we ordered we had to change because they no longer use the kind of pasta or had to change it because they no longer do mussels. It was not worth the prize.

Best pasta we’ve ever had! We got the shrimp dimante and asked to have it made spicy. The chef made our sauce from scratch and it was amazing! We sat on the patio and it was extremely pleasant.
