This meal was the. best. restaurant. meal. we. can. remember!!!! The food was absolutely divine, and the service by far exceeded first class. Ben W. served us and he provided an unforgettably welcoming experience. He and his team of coworkers worked together like a well oiled machine, and it is obvious that they care about taking care of each other and their customers. All of this coupled with stellar prices for a mountain resort town left no room to wonder why we found out it is a favorite for many of the local residents.

2) The ‘Shroom Bucket (which started out full) was so good that I forgot to take a picture until it was nearly gone.
3)We subbed in Au Jus Mushrooms for one of our sides, and they were SO GOOD.
4) We swapped halves of an American Dipper sandwich and a “The Jack” burger, and it was a tough call on which one’s flavors were more amazing.
To say this meal was divine is an understatement. What a blessing this was; and we are so thankful we were just tired enough that we chose not to go out for a “fancier” (meaning 2-3 x’s more expensive) meal.

Good spot by hotels on the edge of town. Super friendly service and good food. Good selection at bar for beer. Cry bay hot wings were very tasty, Rex draft beer also hit the spot. Cant remember name of our cute waitresses buy she was so nice and took good care of us. A+

We stayed at the Holiday Inn. Rex’s is connected. We had drinks and breakfast. The staff are super friendly. They have a relaxing place to sit and drink outside. You can also eat in the patio. Inside is decorated well. Seating is comfortable. The food was very tasty, fresh and reasonably priced.

I have visited Rex’s since they have opened. Every time I am in town I visit a minimum of 1 time. The Sweet and Sour Steak (large pieces of NY Strip) special I had on 1/31 was the best meal I have had. Great job! The only negative I have is $18 for a double Tito’s and OJ is outrageous. Wish I would have known before I saw $48 dollars for 3 drinks. CRAZY !!!!

I was perplexed on how I wanted to rate Rex’s Bar and grill. Ive been told they are a great place to eat, and I would have to say they are just ok. The food is very expensive and was lacking complex flavors. Also my food was exceptionally salty and by the end of my meal I wasn’t enjoying myself. I was really disappointed because it looked amazing and sounded amazing, but left me desiring more. I would like to go back and try something else, but for now Ill leave it with 3 stars. Your server saved you from 2, he was very helpful.

I come here once a week to get their buffalo wings, probably the best wings in town but the prices are pretty steep here asking $17 for a serving of wings. The pizza is also pretty good but I rarely order it. Plenty of seats for big or single groups and a nice bar to sit at too. Everytime I come here the staff are always super nice but never too abrasive and genuinely want you to be happy ie I ordered a drink and didn’t like it, I didn’t say anything but the bartender seen I wasn’t drinking it and offered me a new drink free of charge.

Visited Rex’s based on its glowing online reviews, and feeling very misled. The service was good, very friendly. We enjoyed being able to sit outdoors on the patio, and thought the french fries were great. Beyond that, we were pretty disappointed. This picture is of the meat provided on the $19.29 Cowpig platter. Not the portions I would expect for this price point, especially considering the brisket was 90% fat.

We had another restaurant in our GPS and for some reason we decided to come here instead, and I’m so glad we did! Anna the bartender was so nice and helpful. We had a lot of food and it was all so good. We left with 2 to go boxes and still got dessert to go because we figured if the dinner was so good the dessert wouldn’t disappoint either and it didnt! Next time we are in town we will definitely be back.
