The Club sandwich is delicious, the waffle fries were nice and crispy (the way I like them). Love the atmosphere, the staff were friendly and inviting, Teresa made sure to keep our drinks filled. We will be back!

I’m having trouble deciding where to rate this place. We stopped through on the way across the county. The building appears to be quite a bit old but still has been maintained. The service inside was very adequate and everyone was very friendly. They do have crab claws on the menu, and I asked the waitress about more information about them. She said she would go check and returned with two for me to try, which I found to be a nice gesture. She also kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly. The claws were delicious and come to find out they were deep fried, which were delicious. I did not order them but instead ordered the smoked chicken dinner with cole slaw and tator tots. My wife ordered the rib plate. My chicken was cooked perfectly. It was moist inside, and the outside was perfectly crisp. However, it didn’t taste like it had any seasoning at all on it. I could taste the smoke flavor some, but I felt it needed more than that. My wifes ribs were overcooked and a little rubbery at the ends and also lacked seasoning. I’m sure we could have sent them back to get fresher ones, but we didn’t ask. I know our waitress would have happily switched them out.

I usually don’t do this bc I work in food myself but at this point it’s ridiculous. I to go ordered 2 ribeyes last night medium well, get home and the steaks are rare. I’m talking red blood everywhere, the baked potatoes tasted like they was cooked last week. I couldn’t eat the meal and neither could my husband. I also believe I was wayyy over charged. Will

First time to stop there and eat. It might not look like much from the outside, but the building is nice and clean from the outside. The parking lot was filled, which is always a good sign. The inside was amazing. Very clean and very inviting atmosphere. No waiting time to be seated, even though there were quite a few guests. The food was outstanding, and I’d like to highlight the bbq sauces, potato salad and especially the waffle fries. We really liked it and will be back.

We usually eat at the Chip. Great place to eat. Our service tonight was subpar. The food was great as usual. Steak was cooked right. The only problem with our dinner tonight was that our server(s) left us unattended until the portion of our food was ready.

From the outside this place doesn’t look like much. But once you’re inside it’s very homey feeling, the staff is extremely nice and attentive, and the portions are huge for the price. Get out of the big city and eat at the Hickory Chip!

Was very nice and the staff was very nice and polite and very professional very pleasant to deal with and the food was amazing can’t say enough about how good the food was and how the staff were very tentative and all and all 110% if in the area and want a delicious meal must try I promise you won’t be disappointed

I had a Super tasty steak! It was juicy and flavorful. Baked beans were cooked to perfection , sweet potato chips were excellent! You should give it a try , enjoining super attentive waitresses and the atmosphere of a “real ranch style “ .
