I like Ms.Piggies. The food is always hot, delicious and fresh. The owners are very friendly and make you feel appreciated. Their staff member Stacy that works the cash register is just a jewel. Stacy Always, and I mean ALWAYS gives you personable service, kindness and makes sure your order is correct. Good portions and prices. Give this place a try and you won’t regret it.

Where do I begin with this unassuming BBQ gem?
Walking through the door and immediately you’re hit by the smell and flavor of smoked meat. This isn’t some Denny’s-style chain, it’s your neighbor that’s waking you up with the smoke through your window, inviting you next door for a BBQ.
I ordered the rib tips because I’m here late and didn’t want to spoil dinner. My side of choice is the collard greens. The surprise present was corn bread. Everything was amazing. I ordered the tips dry because I didn’t want them hidden by a sauce. They were so flavorful and tender. The collard greens were just as tasty. The cornbread was like having dessert. I wouldn’t change anything.
As a side note, I stole a piece of catfish from my friend and heck, now I’m not sure who won, but I can tell you it’s the fish I’m going to try next time because the corn meal was perfect.

I got the 2 meat (1 tips, 1 pulled pork [pic below]), 3 meat, half smoke chicken, and pork steak. Tips were meaty and tender. Pork was good too. Good sized half chicken and pork steak. The sides are put in spill reducing containers. The sides were ok, hubby liked the black eye peas. The yams and greens were not fresh but they were doctor’d up pretty good. The half smoke chicken never got to the table since hubby since he stood the whole time while eating it, so I’m guessing it was good. You can have it sauced or dry and on the side. All in all, I will visit again. I have visited 3 time. Containers for a little ruffed up by no means the fault of the business.

The brisket was tender and well cooked with an unfortunately underwhelming cheap white bread. The BBQ sauce was a good compliment to everything. Had relativity plain green beans and a very good friend corn cob for sides. Their dining room is blocked off so takeout only. The lady behind the counter really struggled with basic questions about the food. Overall it’s ok.

My family got dinner here and all of us were left completely satisfied and tastebuds happy. I had the loaded potato with brisket. The brisket was super tender and tasty. I loved the barbecue sauce. I’m always hesitant when getting greens from a barbecue spot, but Ms. Piggies did not disappoint. I enjoyed all of the food. I tried the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwich that my children got. That was delicious as well. Try Ms. Piggies!

This place is truly a hidden gem as far as I can tell. I was going to try Waco Taco across the street but they were closed. I wandered on over here to Miss Piggy’s because I had heard someone along the way mention that it was good. And I can’t tell you how great it really was. The pulled pork and the beef brisket were exceptional, and on top of a baked potato with cheese and butter? I can’t remember the last time I had a hearty delicious meal. Thank you Miss piggies, I will be back you can count on that.

Fair portions for the price. I didn’t love the sauce, should have gotten it on the side, which is an option. It’s a tangy sauce, which wasn’t bad, just not my favorite. I got the cornbread and potato salad as sides, which were both okay. I’d go back to try a few other things on the menu, but wasn’t overly impressed on my first visit. Should have gotten sauce on the side, which I usually do, as I usually like to mix and match sauces, unless the house sauce is solid.

Came here for the first time, but it won’t be the last. The staff was super friendly and the food amazingly good. The smell when you walk in is intoxicating.
From the outside, it is an unassuming looking place. Another reason why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. It masters old school smoked bbq with a great sauce in a way high end bbq places could only wish for.
