We had a wonderful date night at Stab’s for my birthday. Service was fantastic. My husband ordered the filet and I ordered the lamb — both were cooked perfectly. Very nice ambiance as well. The manager also came by and personally checked on the tables. The whole experience was top notch and we will definitely be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our company dinner here. Everyone enjoyed their food. Too bad I wasn’t able to take more photos. The owner came to our table to speak which was welcoming. We all enjoyed our food and dessert. Our service was top notch. Will definitely recommend this restaurant. Come dressed, a great place to take a date if you want good food, quiet and romantic place to engage in a conversation with a loved one.
Many options on the menu for everyone.

Wow. Great experience while on business in Baton Rouge. I was with a group of 4, and we had an excellent time.
Food was outstanding. I highly recommend the crab cakes for an appetizer.
Service team was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.
Priced on the higher side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Had what felt like the best waiter in the entire building. She was very personble and attentive to our needs. She knew the menu inside and out. Every question we had, she had an answer for. Someone at our table ordered a lobster, she allowed us to see and thank the lobster before he was sent to the back to be cooked. Every customization we asked for, they accommodated. Steaks were cooked perfectly, they even ask you cut into immediately to make sure you are 100% satisfied with how your steak is cooked. Even brought out some complimentary desserts for the specials occasions that we were celebrating. If you can afford to eat here, you will not be disappointed.

the manager Dori was extremely rude and prejudice showing clear signs of racial discrimination, the manager did not let our original waiter server and insisted that she would serve us instead leaving our original server looking confused as she could immediately tell something was “off” Dori proceeded not be attentive at all during our time and not approach us other than the initial time she took out orders and was very vague and bland then. we were also sat at the bar even though the restaurant was empty and there were no reservations made at tables or booths (we later asked our host for clarification) (we came at 11:30 on a tuesday) it is clear Dori does not want african americans to do business at stabs as we don’t feel welcomed i wish we would’ve done research before hand as this seems to be a reoccurring problem with Dori and doesn’t have any hopes of changing anytime soon, I am so disappointed and will not be returning

I went to Stab’s for the first time with a girl friend, dressed up for the first time in months and had the best experience of fine dining (even though we sat at the bar, right next to a live pianist playing on a grand piano .) The food was amazing (picture), service was excellent, and a sponser from Raising Canes was going around tables, asking if they wanted to take a picture with their huge dog mascot (picture.) Overall, if you would like to experience a place with a piano, jazz-room vibe with taste buds for unique platters and near perfect drinks, I would highly recommend Stabs!

The sea bass was a forlorn thin strip either from the belly or the tail end. Overcooked and chewy. I expect sea bass to relatively thick, not a catfish filet. This sad lump was barely large enough to be plated on a cracker. So, I enjoyed the bok choy that came with it as my entree. Oh, I almost forgot about my ceaser salad! They took care to prep it that morning for me to ensure my lettuce was wilted, soggy and a nice muted grey/green. Ambiance was good, so, way to go Stabs! I should have gotten a steak, but I love sea bass. I won’t find out if their steaks are good as I won’t be going back. As my wife told me when I got back from the meeting “why did you go there? We went last year and it was terrible.” Guess things haven’t changed at stabs.

The filet was PERFECTION. The crab cake ..all crab … it was excellent. The shrimp and grits (I was told by my Dad) was the best ever. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. The French onion soup was better than some you find in Paris.
The service was top notch, our server, Ava Claire, was attentive without being intrusive. She made the evening even more enjoyable.

Went here for our anniversary. Everything was delicious aside from the steak, which was so so, and lamb was gamey.. I really didn’t care for either. French onion was delicious. Lobster was a little rubbery. The desert and champagne were delectable. These guys went above and beyond to make our day special.

The food and service was great the waiters were fast and had great personality …
But… in the men’s restroom, I stepped in another man’s feces. THAT is unacceptable and disgusting, ruined a new pair of shoes and an appetite. I was there with my firm for our annual Christmas lunch party. Very, very, very disappointed that the manager was ‘in a meeting.’ I was also told, ‘he is aware of the problem, it isn’t a big deal.’ I am not sure if the staff member who told me this knew of the situation. She also told me the manager would come speak to me, but I had left and hadn’t had the chance to tell him about what had happened.
I’m not going to leave a 1 star rating based solely on this problem because this was genuinely a nice place and had great food and staff but I feel this needs to be shared
