Very fresh, delicious, nourishing food. I’ve been nursing a broken bone and trying new restaurants in the area via DoorDash. I had no idea there was a new farm-to-table restaurant in downtown Andover (Nan’s). I ordered a chicken thigh bowl with a few of the included side selections and the flavors were nothing short of amazing. Lots of spot-on seasonings that make the veggies sing.

I eat healthy food, and LOVED the selection of vegetables for the Bowl option. But my husband is from Texas—- what can I say. He asked me to bring him home an order of fried chicken from Nan’s while I was there. He has very high standards for his fried chicken.
High marks from him!!! He might prefer Hattie’s in Saratoga Springs, but around here, he says it’s the best he’s had.
I’ll definitely stop into Nan’s when I’m in Andover. Delicious food and a great selection for vegetarians and omnivores.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint is the open kitchen. The strong cooking smells made it difficult to eat in. We ended up taking our food to go and eating it at home instead.

Every time I go into Nan’s I have to wait for someone to realize I’m standing at the counter waiting to order. Food has potential. The breakfast sandwich could be so amazing but it’s dripping with grease and just falls apart because the brioche can’t handle it. Please just use less butter or oil or something so it stays together and is a bit healthier. I have had the Lu ch with sides a couple
times and the vegetables are cut so gigantic. Please make them so you just need a fork and don’t need to cut them up.

Great local vibe- the salmon bowl is awesome- pairs well with the tzatziki sauce. Mud pie dessert perfect finish. Really friendly and efficient staff. So clean!

I ordered the Spicy Kale Salad Wrap with herb brined chicken. It was huge – must weigh close to a pound ! And very tasty! Spicy, but not overly so, and kale was crisp . Definitely worth the $12.95

The breakfasts that we ordered were well prepared and presented. Had the breakfast bowl with over-easy eggs (cooked perfectly), potatoes (large chunks, well seasoned), broccoli with feta, and crispy bacon. Avocado toast was loaded with a blend of avocado, pickled red onions, charred corn, and more. The toast was perfectly crisp on the edges and soft inside. We ordered two drinks – a matcha latte (the best oat based matcha I’ve ever had) and a brown butter hazelnut latte (unique and delicious). Would definitely come here again for breakfast, and plan to try their lunch and dinner options, as well.

One of the best places i’ve been to for take out. The fried chicken and all of the sides were delicious! All of the staff members were kind and welcomed me when I arrived to pick up my order. The highlights were the clam chowder, fried chicken, biscuits and the charred sweet potatoes.
The only slight downside? I wish the chocolate chip cookies were a bit less crumbly, but they were still very tasty.
