The food is overall yummy and everyone working there is so friendly. The restaurant is clean, including the bathroom. The inside is a great space – very comfortable.

The side salad is a bit lackluster but everything else was delicious. We will return. Manicotti was made with fresh pasta and the sauce was great. We also tried bruschetta, spaghetti, bolognese rigatoni, and chicken marsala. They have large portions.

Such a great Italian Restaurant! I have had quite a few items off the menu and they are all great. Service is great. The outdoor seating is amazing when it’s nice outside. A few weeks ago a coworker and I both got a pizza and then split it. We got the Chicken Pesto and the Blondie. Both were so yummy!! Here’s a pic of the Chicken Pesto and the new pick up area that has some yummy looking desserts!

I have eaten here 3 times and each meal was wonderful. The food is fresh, hot, beautifully plated and delicious. The garlic bread knots are outstanding. Service was very good, no complaints at all. The owner stopped by our table, they were charming and genuinely interested in our opinion of the restaurant.
Highly recommend this restaurant, outstanding in all respects.
PS 4 stars because no place is perfect, but in reality it is 4.5.

Family owned and operated. Good Italian food served in a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. They have booths, tables, bar, all tastefully arranged. Lots to choose from, including some unique dishes. Very few places have manicotti anymore. Chicken parm and farfalle dishes were great! Red sauces are good, and many dishes with them. White clam sauce was a bit weak. Ravioli dish was good, but not homemade ravioli, making it a bit pricey for what you’re getting. Pizza tasted fresh and is probably considered good for VA style pizza, just know it’s doughy, not NY style. Desserts looked good. Can get busy, so make a reservation. Would like to try some more dishes, especially truffle flavored, calzones, veal, etc.

Dad and daughter dinner perfection!! It was so good! Fresh bread along with everything else! Don’t skip the Italian wedding soup and the meatballs! Not a bad dish in the place from what I can tell so far!

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and staff. However, look… I’m more than willing to pay extra for very good quality food, but you leave me frustrated when that is just very far from the case. It is just, unfortunately, priced double what it should be for the quality of what you’re getting. What disappointed me most was the salad. I cannot believe it would even be served to customers like how it was: a few pieces of very low-quality iceberg lettuce, two squishy tomatoes and olives, and a large slice of cucumber. I had pasta, which was OK. The bread was actually great. I think there’s just a dichotomy between the atmosphere and prices and the quality of food that’s served. I’d recommend getting a glass of wine and some bread. That’s where I’d leave it.

As a frequent patron of Palermo’s, I thought it time to provide others with an overview of my experiences.
We have been experiencing the finest in Italian cuisine since it’s opening at Westchester Commons in Midlothian Virginia.
The owner/operator Mary Ann provides a wonderful experience with an always exceptional team of employees.
The menu is diverse while always keeping quality at the forefront.
On our most recent visit, our waitress, Corrie H, presented us with another quality experience!
I highly recommend you visit Palermo’s for a terrific dinner or lunch experience.

It’s a very long story, but we had a bad experience, emailed the restaurant twice and received no response so I called and the owner became very nasty and belligerent and said that she doesn’t respond to emails about complaints about her restaurant and it’s none of my business why she even has an email address if she’s not going to respond to it. She also said that I was lucky to have gotten a table, even though I had a reservation days before. She will never get any of our money again. Trust me, go somewhere else.

We had reservations some we were seated immediately. Service was good and the prices were reasonable. The food was very good. My only complaint was the quantity. I had chicken parm. The portion was overwhelming. Three large pieces of chicken which was way too much. The other thing was that I was served only the chicken parm. So I had this huge plate of chicken, sauce and cheese and nothing else like maybe some pasta to go with it. All this chicken and nothing else made the chicken parm ever more overwhelming. They could have cut the portion by 2/3 and lowered the price and put a little pasta on the side to make the meal more appealing. Another customer beside us got the chicken parm and he had the same comments. I think we were supposed to get bread but we were never offered any. Appetizers and deserts were good

We had our 56th wedding anniversary dinner here. The food and many choices was excellent
Our waiter was the best, taking care of all 15 of us at one time. Would recommend this restaurant highly.
