My wife and I have been enjoying JJ’s for about 5 years now. Every time one of us is in the area we coordinate a pick up. The garbage plate is a Rochester area culinary monster that has found its way into hearts and homes all over. Jose Joe’s twist is the garbage plate burrito and it’s amazing – deep fried in a tortilla. You have to try this place, its incredible. Also portions are large – which is one of my favorite aspects of any meal.

Pleasant and prompt service! Love this location and the option to dine out doors. The food was prepared exactly how I asked. I could eat this salad everyday and my daughter thinks the deep fried José frito is the best.

Have only tried the tacos-great price, great portion size, but the tortillas were ice cold and doughy. They’d be awesome if they could heat them on the grill before filling! Service was great. Lighting is too bright and sort of kills the atmosphere. It’s very clean. Will definitely be back to try other items-love having another option in Charlotte during the winter term:-)
Editing my review-after trying the burgers, we have come back multiple times. Priced so well and they are delicious. Can’t wait for them to open again next season

Went out of my way to eat here, skipping dinner with the rest of my group. Sign on door says closed for the season… its late July at a beach location.

First-time customer. Heard good things from friends and decided to order from them. Answered call quickly and didn’t put me on hold. Took order correctly and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Got there and order was ready. Food tasted great, portions were generous, Make sure to order toppings if they’re not included on your menu item

Their dressings and sauces are a bit different, but delicious. Food was very good, restaurant is very clean and is kid friendly. Only complaint is that they use thick cut bacon and was overcooked – it was hard as a rock. I’m guessing it’s not an every day occurrence so I will definitely be returning.

We were looking for a quick lunch along Lake Ontario and came across this one. Had a bunch of favorable reviews, so we stopped. Had the Jose Carne burrito. I didn’t realize you could use Steak-um meat in a burrito. It had no flavor. The diet coke had an odd cherry flavor. Ate 4 bites and left hungry. The cashier was very friendly and pleasant.
