As a Pittsboro based Realtor, I visit new places around town all the time and I can say that, without a doubt, The Mod is really great. There is a bigger section with a bar game and a nice selection of liquor, as well as a smaller section that is reserved for more of a family-style restaurant vibe. I ordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with pasta salad and it was REALLY good… juicy and flavorful, with friendly staff to accommodate. With indoor and outdoor seating, along with an outdoor fire pit, I definitely recommend trying this place if you’re considering it.

Excellent, fresh food in a relaxed atmosphere. Great chicken pesto sandwich, and the side pasta salad was surprisingly tasty – way beyond your average tasteless pasta salad – you could taste each ingredient, very fresh. Highly recommended!

The food here is fantastic. Even a standard Turkey Club was very good and HUGE.. this is how a Turkey Club should look and should be made. We came between the lunch and dinner hour on Sunday and there maybe more people than waitresses – but she work the tables well and we were not in a hurry. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, people watching, and definitely the food. Highly Recommend.

We were out this way on a random Wednesday and my boyfriend said he wanted me to see this great bar, has really good food and a great atmosphere so I was sold.
Downtown is a really hip place, you could fall in love here. Walked into this bar and automatically I’m in awe of the fairy lights in the rafters and the whiskey barrel bars.
There wood carvings and art, the lights, the music, the food! A lot happening here, a game night and a paint night, the service is excellent and the food was chefs kiss.
Literally ordered food in addition to dinner to take home and eat later. Highly recommend!!

We stopped into The Mod on the way back home from Jordan Lake. Husband was interested in the wood fired pizza so this was definitely the place to go.
We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and a pizza. It wasn’t that busy when we were in there. The bartender was attentive and provided excellent service. The pizza arrived quickly and it was quite delicious! The beer selection they had for the day was nice. My husband liked what he ordered.
If we are ever back in Pittsboro, we’ll definitely stop back in to The Mod!

We had a nice dinner at The Mod. The pizzas were fantastic! A gluten-free crust is also available. The beer selection is also very good.
TIP – the regular pizzas were said to be 12” but they seemed more like 14”. The gluten-free pizzas were more like 12”. We ordered one pizza per person, but no one was able to finish their pie.

Went to lunch with my mom here and was very happy with our experience! I ate (most of) the artichoke pizza and it was excellent. My mom ordered the chicken caesar wrap and wasnt planning on eating all of it but she did! The pizza had a crisp, fresh tasting dough, fresh ingredients on top.
The service was great as well. Allie (or Ally) was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. I look forward to coming back to try more of their food!!

We passed through on St Patty’s day and I almost did not recognize where we were in Pittsboro. This small town has grown so much. The downtown/traffic circle area was essentially a large outdoor party. People were so cheery and nice and just vibing. The food was fair, good American faire sans burgers. The building layout is interesting, half is bar/pub the other side more restaurant style seating.

Unreasonable over charging on items. We waited an hour for food when almost nobody was there and wer forgotten multiple times because we were sitting outside. The kids food came 30 minutes before the adults. Tried reaching out and got no response
