At our Prattville, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

We are the captains seafood platter n The Battered fish and with baked potato corn on the cob in coleslaw it was very unsatisfying they gave us the wrong fish on the captain’s platter and the crab cakes stuffing with hard as well the corn you could not bite into we was very disappointed the potato was very hard

I never go to captain ds but today my co worker and I wanted to try it, so I went to get food. When I walked in the short dark skinned girl at the front counter said NOTHING. I strive off of customer service & being pleasant so I said “hey how are you?” Do you know she in return says “what you want today?” I NEVER leave google reviews but this is necessary because does anyone know what customer service is anymore?

fantastic, used the drive thru but the other location caught fire and I drove all the way here to enjoy my fish and they did NOT disappoint! They were also all extremely friendly and kind, thank you so much guys! It was delicious!

The food was hot and good. The green splotched haired girl behind the counter was extremely rude and condescending. Bathrooms and tabletops were filthy and the trash was overflowing. We will probably get it through the drive-thru if we ever go back again. Sad, it really could be a nine place if owners or management gave a damn.

In town for business and wanted a quick easy meal. Captain D’s never disappoints. The food is always consistent and cooked as intended. The wait staff is inviting and very pleasant. I would like to see a few more caffeine free drink options but that’s only a minor thing. Have been coming to this location for the past 25 years and will continue in the future.

Fish was cooked in burnt grease. You could taste the burntness on the fish. It made me sick on the stomache. I returned all the food too only get partial of my order back. I had to re-buy some items, even doe I returned them untouched!!!!

Placed a to-go order to pickup at 1012pm. When I picked up I had to ask for the condiments that I had order. Once I got home at 1016pm the orders was found incorrect with the wrong sides and it was cold, so I warmed it up in microwave, but when we attempted to eat it we could tell it was not freshly made and tasted as if it had been left overs from today’s stock.
I attempted to call the store several times from 1020 to 1050 with no answer, so I guess I’ll take the receipt in the mor5and demand my money back.
