Wonderful experience while visiting Concrete traveling across the country. Lunch was amazing. I happen to be staying not too far from there overnight in my RV and ask for a suggestion where to get a bite and it was recommended and I can only say that when you’re visiting small towns always Ask A Local they know best and this time they were more than correct.
Do you take the time to take a stroll or a drive around? It is a beautiful little enclave.

If ever in the area again I will definitely go back there!

Great place! Reviews are genuine. Kind people serving great food. We tried Veg panini which was amazing and pie which was delicious. The bakery has so many options. Seating is limited but there is plenty to do. This place matches the beauty of this small town.

Would surely visit again and again!

Beautiful bakery and a great place to stop when traveling the Cascade Loop. We got a ginger snap cookie and a chocolate peanut butter bar. We saved them for our picnic lunch at Diablo Lake Outlook. Forgive the smudged chocolate topping. I didn’t get a picture of it before it melted but it sure was delicious!

Came in for breakfast and decided on a Chicken Panini instead. Asked them if it was too early for lunch and they said they could make a panini for us. We shared the sandwich and loved every bit of it especially the flatbread that held it all together so nicely! The sandwich was delicious and our Mochas were very good as well. Service was excellent, quick and friendly. Thank you team 5bs for a wonderful experience again, we will be back!

Gluten free bakery with Caffe’ D’arte coffee. A hidden gem in Skagit county. I could do without the no kings sign by the restroom though…other than that service was exceptional and the food was delicious.

Excellent breakfast sandwich. I didn’t know the place was Gluten free until after I finished my meal. In the last couple of years I gave up bread and rice because they were just hard for me to digest but I had not tried Gluten free anything because the early days of GF was not just Gluten free but flavor free as well. I look forward to sampling 5b’s other products because the bread on my egg sandwich was not just GF, it tasted BETTER than any bread I’ve eaten before. Totally worth going out of the way for a great experience, gluten free or not, and if you have a gluten free diet, this place is what you’ve been looking for.

5b’s Bakery is everything you hope to find in a small-town spot and more. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and welcoming energy make you feel right at home. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, and their quick service makes it easy to relax and just enjoy the experience.

The food is outstanding. On par with the best bakeries you’d find in a big city. Every bite tastes fresh and thoughtful, from their incredible signature breads to their heavenly cinnamon rolls. What we especially appreciate is the variety of savory baked goods, each one flavorful, hearty, and clearly made with care.

Whether you’re here for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee and treat, you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. 5b’s isn’t just a bakery, it’s a community treasure and a must-stop in Concrete!

Very lovely group of women who work there!

It was nice to see the take away meals and fresh food options. A little bit of everything even with a done in menu.

I picked up the Ginger, Chocolate Chip, and Lemon cookie. All moist and full of flavor, highly recommend any of them. The food is delicious and a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch if your in the area camping. This really helped with my coffee fix in the morning.

Atmosphere is super cute. Bright sunny spot with a very sweet and eclectic vibe.

That said, it was very overpriced for what it is. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and while the waffles were some of the best I’ve had (golden brown, and made with a corn meal maybe? Awesommmmme texture and crunch), the chicken left something to be desired. It was very well seasoned, but it was only 1 medium chicken tender sized chicken cutlet- not fried chicken. Which is on me, it probably did say on the menu that it was a cutlet and not fried chicken. It was 4 waffle pieces for just this one small piece of chicken, and it cost $20, which felt wayyyy overpriced to us. I feel like you normally get 2-3 “tender” sized pieces of chicken when you order chicken and waffles. My husband got the chicken bacon panini- which ended up being more of a toasted pita wrap, not a traditional panini. Which he did like- but wasn’t what he was expecting. I thought it was a little bland.

We got a grilled cheese to go(we tried a bite fresh- meh, not bad not great, you could make an equally good one at home), a black coffee, and a peppermint tea.

After the 10% tip, this all came out to almost $80- which felt like a LOT for the sort of lacking flavor and small chicken portion.

All that said, the foods presentation is amazing, the restaurant itself is super cute and cozy, and the team was all really nice. We’d eat here again- but maybe order from their huge range of prepared goods in their pastry display instead. Their pastry/prepared food display looks soooo good!
