Very good food at very reasonable prices. We still tipped well, but our server didn’t mention the specials until we asked, brought the wrong one, and didn’t ask if we wanted desert (probably happy to see us leave). The restaurant has a very relaxing and attractive interior. Caution: credit card surcharge

If you’re taking a stroll along Nolan Creek and find yourself craving authentic flavors, Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant is the perfect landing spot. It manages to hit that “Goldilocks” zone of dining: high-quality food without the pretentious price tag.
The first thing you’ll notice is how accommodating the space is. Unlike some of the smaller spots nearby, they have plenty of seating, making it a reliable choice for a last-minute dinner or a larger group. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, matched perfectly by the service. The staff is attentive and keeps things moving without making you feel rushed.
As for the food, it’s consistently great. Whether you’re going for a classic pasta dish or one of their pizzas, the portions are generous and the flavors are spot on. It’s rare to find a place where the quality is this high but the prices remain fair, especially given its prime location near the creek.
If you want a solid meal and a relaxing atmosphere after a day outdoors, this is easily one of the best values in the area.

Was dissapointed in the food. Was not authintic as many people said in reviews.. was bland and not great. Got the chicken carciofi and it was ok. Could use more flavor and the noodles cooked longer. The artichokes on there were so tart and sour it threw off the whole plate. The pasta combo was so hot my husband had to spit it out and burned his mouth. No one said it was hot… the portion is also a sliver of lasagana with so much cheese and a tiny layer of noodles, 1 shell, and 2 small bites of manicotti.

Meatballs were best described as room temp and not homemade.

Over all we spent $50 for nothing. Service was great! Cute place. Wont be returning or recoomending.

We ordered rake out from Dash. Today, 10/5/25. Tiramisu, Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Salad ($13.00), Chicken and Shrimp Feticcini, and some Caprese. $111 with tip and delivery. Chicken salad pic added.
Do Not order from here. Where the food may be good, but we experienced bad quantity and prices today. It’s sad to see this from a restaurant in the community.

We love coming to this Italian restaurant. The food is always delicious! This time we ordered a shrimp Alfredo pasta — the sauce was amazing. We also had the lasagna, which was very tasty. Highly recommend!

If you’re craving authentic Italian, downtown Belton’s Napoli’s Italian Bistro, with its locally crafted food, is worth checking out. My husband and I had a late lunch there on a Sunday afternoon and we pretty much enjoyed our experience. Its quiet atmosphere, due to few patrons, made it ideal for conversation, and the friendly and attentive staff provided good service. I was quite surprised to find the restaurant larger inside than I had imagined, and I found it to be a unique place.

While our entrees were a little slow in arriving, the wait wasn’t unreasonable. With so few diners, we didn’t anticipate a delay in receiving our food.

I had the Cheese Ravioli and the portion was smaller than I expected. You get three large cheese stuffed raviolis smothered in sauce. Despite being somewhat over-salted, the piping hot dish was pleasant and satisfying.

My husband had the Spaghetti Meatball. Despite finding it salty as well, he mostly enjoyed his dish.

OUR CONS:
The restaurant had some issues with cleanliness, specifically the tables, the floor under our booth, and menus. Our server gave us menus that were so dirty with crusted, dried food, they felt rough and were off-putting. We found the entrees to be too salty. I prefer my food without an overpowering salty taste. The chef should definitely reduce the salt in these dishes. Finally, credit/debit card payments incur an additional percentage fee. I strongly dislike this business practice. Especially when it’s not publicized beforehand, like on their website, etc. Few people pay in cash any more and credit/debit cards are just part of doing business.

Despite some negative experiences, I’d still recommend it for its authentic Italian food and good service. This unique restaurant boasts a truly wonderful and friendly staff, and the food is worth trying. But be sure to bring cash if you do not want to pay the extra fees!

Wasn’t the worst food iv had the chance to eat but, definitely Wasn’t very good. I ordered a large Ceasar salad and the Chicken parm. The salad had fresh lettuce but didn’t help that they put enough watery dressing for 4 salads. Im not a fan of having to say this but this chicken parm was the worst iv ever had, soggy and resembled the frozen chicken patties you can buy from the grocery store. The chicken parm comes with spaghetti but mine wasn’t served with it (maybe they didn’t have any spaghetti noodles) it was served with angel hair pasta that was absolute mush, maybe they let it sit for a while but it was definitely mushy and was only room temperature. My spouse ordered linguine al pesto, which didn’t taste bad at all but once again the noodles were mush and far too much sauce to make sense. The high light of the whole meal was the mozzarella sticks those and the bread sticks they gave us were amazing. I don’t want to completely bash this restaurant but the food was comparable to army chow hall food. If I was tired of eating MRE’s all week then I would probably eat here or I would just go to the chow hall instead. Our waitress was very kind and respectful and was very attentive. The staff was very friendly but sadly that doesn’t make up for the quality of the food. I would be very upset with myself if I tried to pass this off as legitimate italian cuisine. Hopefully this was just an off day and not how the food actually is. If I wasn’t as hungry as I was I probably wouldn’t have eaten as much and walked out far sooner

Got my order wrong, though were apologetic. Alfredo that I was given was basically TV dinner quality. Bread and it did not have flavor, and the table seasonings did not add much. They were nice and offered my original order, but by that point the wait time had already been a little long for a lunch, so I ate some of it and left. Price was a bit high for what it was. It was admittedly in the 2ish-3ish range of the day and seemed low staff.
