Not a fan of their bread and pastries. News said they got them from a bakery from Dearborn. They need to switch to someone else. Cheese bread is tough, even after you heated it. Croissant has meager amount of fillings and the texture is off. Iced coffee is good though.
Sycamore Tree Bakery and Cafe is truly something special.
The owners are absolutely amazing, and it’s incredible what they’ve built in just 41 days of being open (if I heard that number correctly). You can feel the excitement the moment you walk in. The place is already buzzing with happy customers and nonstop energy.
The space itself is beautifully designed: clean, modern, welcoming, and comfortable with plenty of seating. The pricing is fantastic, especially for the quality you’re getting. And the food? Unreal. The ham and Swiss croissant was one of the best I’ve had, and their crafted iced tea was just as impressive.
What really stood out was hearing other customers around me saying the same thing… everyone was raving about how great this place is. I honestly loved it so much that I came back twice in the same day, which I’ve never done elsewhere by choice that I can recall.
This is a must-visit and a business 100% worth supporting. I’m so glad I wandered over here while working remotely today.
Livonia is lucky to have them!
The hospitality was excellent; the staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive, which truly sets this bakery apart. I also love the Sycamore story behind. It adds a beautiful, meaningful layer to the entire experience. Also love the different Michigan posts and theam throughout the cafee. My favorit was the Jeep sign “I may get lost but I ‘ll never get stuck”
It’s rare to find a place that combines such a peaceful environment with fantastic service. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat, cofee, or looking for a place to relax and reflect, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended.
The Zaatar and Cheese croissant were delicious but slightly undercooked in the middle. The Syrian Cheese Pie was decent. If you are looking for a croissant please come and give this place a try.
coffee was very good and their latte was stellar. The service was excellent and you can tell the people working there were very excited about the new shop.
In good weather, there is outdoor seating.
I do wish they had more flavor options (the only had vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut, but they are a new shop and we LOVE supporting local business. They use the cold foam from the can so it dissolves really fast in your drink, but they don’t charge extra and I appreciated that.
The owner was incredibly kind. There food and pastry options were a nice selection. I ended up getting the tiramisu and my friend got an eclair. Both were phenomenal. The coffee was very strong and not overly sweet.
Will definitely be returning.
