Do not place an order unless you want almost no chicken and more coleslaw. I have NEVER received a chicken basket with such disappointing sizes. On top of that, my order was incorrect. Definitely not worth $21 for 2 meals with no drink. Not even Church’s would do me this dirty. Save your $$$

Just ordered on 8/6/24. We have gone several times to try to give this restaurant a new chance every time and they never miss from disappointing every time. So we always go to the one on west county road where they are So polite and very clean it’s incredible. Now 42nd everything bad always happens in this one. Today when I go my order I had absolutely nothing. It’s the sampler which I they should know what is in it. Well no chicken at all. Had my coleslaw side, was it there, no!! Then yes my daughter should had asked for condiment but for having to order from a few Places I’m sure you forget. Especially if it’s not hers. But I believe as an employee they should respectfully at least ask if you need ketchup or at least Tatar sauce, since fish is all they gave me or anything. That would help everyone so much. But I guess going to the one on 42nd st Shouldn’t surprise me. Another chance down the drain.

7/16/21: I ordered the 3 piece chicken strips with fries and extra hushpuppys. The chicken was good and crispy as well as the fries and hushpuppys.
The only thing I had a problem with is the 2 piece fish I ordered was very greasy. It’s been that way the last several times I’ve been to Long John Silvers.

Made an online order yesterday. I get there and had to wait. Then they tell me. That they didn’t have any hush puppies at all which my daughter loves them. So we ordered extra and then they ask me will we accept fry’s. So we said yes. Also coleslaw n green beans both orders nothing Get home. And the chicken is super hard. Like waaay overcooked and the fry’s was hard as well it was supposed to be but one get one and that didn’t happen I’m so disappointed in this

Never sure if the drive thru works so I went in. Paper debris here and there but nothing too serious. Cashier was a little soft spoken but polite and professional. He suggestive sold a drink. Food didnt take too long. I ordered the thick cut white fish basket which is a good deal. Now off to fight that traffic getting out

I’d love to talk to the owner sometime. My dad managed this place in the eighties, it would have a line to the street on Fridays. The place looks closed. The 3 employees were sitting in the dining room if they didn’t have customers at the counter. The food was old, coleslaw was soured, fries were stale. It needs a really good scrubbing overall. Sad to see one of my early twenty favorites in this condition.

I have many fond memories of Long John Silver’s from my childhood, and recently, I decided to revisit the brand after many years, rekindling my appreciation for their classic fish patties. My usual order is straightforward—six fish patties, and occasionally, a side of cheese bites.
Unfortunately, this particular visit did not live up to expectations. The restaurant was noticeably unclean and filled with smoke, creating an unpleasant dining atmosphere. Upon placing my order, there was some confusion at the register, and it became clear from the price that my order had not been entered correctly. After some discussion between the cashier and a coworker, they were eventually able to adjust the charge appropriately.
As for the food, the fish patties were heavily breaded, which resulted in an overly greasy texture that detracted from the flavor. The cheese bites, while expectedly greasy, were enjoyable and consistent with what I remember.
Overall, the meal was below the standard I had hoped for, both in terms of quality and experience. While I still enjoy Long John Silver’s as a brand and will continue to dine at other locations, I do not anticipate returning to this specific restaurant.

Drove to the wireless store next door from 30 mins away ordered got dinner there. Got home and checked my order. I was supposed to get 2 sides and only got 1. No husspuppies or shrimp. It was a platter that cost me $11 and was short changed! Thank you.

We have had great experiences every time we come to this location. Everything is made to order or definitely tastes that way. Everyone that has waited on us at the window is extremely friendly.
