As soon as we walked in, the bartenders waved us to the bar like we were old friends and were so friendly. We came at 10pm on a Friday night and didn’t know they have one side of the restaurant as a club so be warned it gets very loud because of the music. We didn’t care but I know some people may find the info useful. We got the steak fajitas and ceviche and the steak was some of the best I’ve ever had. The ceviche was really good but super spicy and a lot of lemon. We had a good laugh at the guys singing karaoke and everyone included us in the shenanigans! If you want a fun night out, try this place. If you want a quiet peaceful dinner, maybe try to dine at an earlier hour.

Went with a few friends for a Friday night event. We ordered Margaritas at the bar. Received the bill and it was $55 for 3 of the worst margaritas we’ve ever had. I dont know what kind of tequila was in it, but it was definitely low quality and we all agreed they were barely drinkable and not worth the money. Paid the bill and left. When I got home, I realized they had added a 15% automatic tip into the bill. I have no idea why, we didnt even leave a tab open. I had also tipped on the receipt, so she made a huge tip for 3 horrible drinks. Went to a different bar afterward, got delicious margaritas there instead and spent less money. This place is a definite skip.

We love the jalea de mariscos as well as the ceviche. I am giving 4 stars because they are a little bit slow. Food is great

We had a really disappointing experience here. It started with stale and inedible plantain chips and canchas with rocoto that tasted “off”. The ceviche was just okay and fairly small considering the high price. The carne was chewy. The saving grace was the tallarín verde, which was very flavorful and tasty and a good portion size. There were only two other parties in the restaurant but our server forgot our drinks until we had already eaten most of our meal and after I had reminded her once already. Also, heads up that they charge an automatic 20% tip as part of the bill (even though it doesn’t say it anywhere on the menu or elsewhere), but the receipt still has a blank space to write in more tip when you sign.
Unfortunately we won’t be return customers. Our search for quality Peruvian food and a taste of home for my husband continues…

The service was horrible. Silverware and glasses were dirty. Charged $3 for a bottle of Giant brand water bottle. The waitress got our order wrong. When asked for salad dressing the waitress said they had oil. Salad comes out had to ask for dressing. Waitress made 4 trips to the table to create a salad dressing. Had to ask for salt, pepper, oil and vinegar came out in two different dishes. When the bill came they charge 20% gratuity and says nothing about that on the menu. Spoke to the manager and she said several times she couldn’t do anything about it. I refused to pay so the manager eventually took gratuity off. I would never come back. Horrible customer service. Not worth the price. Overall experience 0 stars.

Me and my friend came to bar , and they judged a books by its cover basically and they put automatic gratuity on the check. Not knowing if we were going to tip above that or not which we were were severs abs bartender we know how to take care of our people . They ring us in for drinks we didn’t have and said they couldn’t transfer check bwck to English . I had fun until they tried to play us lucky my Spanish fiend was their.

We live in the area and saw that this new Peruvian restaurant had opened up recently and decided to give it a try. We have now done dinner twice here and will definitely be back. The waitress Alejandra who has served us both times is amazing. She is friendly and attentive. I love the leche de tigre and the calamari. We have tried a few things and they were all great. I would definitely recommend this place and I am looking forward to trying some of the other dishes

We’re Peruvian, have been to Peru several times and probably ate at every Peruvian restaurant in the dmv area. I noticed this place was new and the menu looked good so we decided to try it.

First, we tried calling just to make sure they didn’t go by reservations only or anything but there was no answer. I tried doing the reservation online but it also didn’t go through so we decided to just go try anyway. The whole place was completely empty so that should’ve been a sign but we figured they’re new so we’ll be their only customer.

To start we ordered a leche de Tigre and I ordered a causa rellena but they didn’t have it. So I got a papa rellena instead. The Leche de Tigre was awful, it tasted like lemon juice and had a bad seafood taste to it like the fish was old or too strong. The papa rellena was okay but the salsa criolla also tasted like they used lemon juice instead of lime, and not even real lemon juice but the kind that comes in the bottle. I couldn’t even eat it.

For food i had already ordered a Pollo saltado, it was also just inedible. No flavor at all and especially not Peruvian style. The chicken was rubbery and had a weird taste to it. We didn’t eat anything except the Papa rellena.

We told the server about the food and she just said “oh no one else has said that everyone else loves the food and takes it home with them”. I found that comment odd because still, on a Sunday afternoon it was completely empty. Before coming to this restaurant we had initially gone to Inca Social but they only took reservations so we were turned away, and they were completely packed with people watching the soccer game so it was surprising that no one else came to this place but after trying the food I guess not so surprising.

Of course they didn’t offer to comp any of the food or discount it. My husband paid and told the lady he’s paying to be nice because he didn’t eat and the food was not worth it.. $60 on food that was inedible but oh well we won’t be returning in the future and hopefully this review prevents others from making the same mistake we did.

An absolute ZERO ZERO ZERO out of 5 stars. Really mad that I had to put one start to even leave a review. We came yesterday to celebrate my cousins birthday and participate in the “crank bingo” event they were hosted. The restaurant was so underprepared for the event it was ridiculous. When we first walked in no one gave us any direction. Not from the restaurant or from the event team. I don’t think the event organizers were even there yet at 4pm (event started at 4). A waitress came to our table and brought 1 menu for 6 people and then never came to our table again. Not for water, drink orders, food orders or anything. The other waitress said that they only had 1 person so we should come up to the bar to order instead, no problem. We go to the bar to order our food and drinks. I order 3 margaritas and my cousin orders 1 margarita and chicken wings and fries. The waitresses didn’t even know about the “special event” menu so it took a while for them to even ring in the chicken wings and fries. It’s time to pay and we hand our cards to the bartender that took our order and he then gives them to another waitress who clearly is overwhelmed. She pays the tab and we get our receipts to sign back and my bill is $32 for 4 drinks while my cousins is $45 for 1 drink and her food. Clearly there is a mistake here. They kept saying they just switched out the bills so I had my cousins and she had mine but the math still wasn’t mathing so I asked for an itemized receipt which they kept refusing to give. They said oh it’s too busy right now to print out a receipt. I’m sitting right in front of the POS and the bar it’s not too busy for y’all to press print receipt. Instead of talking to us who were charged incorrectly they kept talking to other people working there with our cards still in their hands. They said they would just void the transaction and redo it then came back 30 seconds later and said they can’t. Which I know you can all you need to do is post void the transaction. Then they said oh I’ll give you a free shot. No I want the itemized version of my receipt to see what y’all are charging me. Then the bartender and server kept pressuring to just sign my receipt then they will handle my cousins bill. Absolutely not! We came and ordered together and she cannot hear you so talk to me about her bill. I kept telling him to talk to me about her bill and even my cousin told him to talk to me and he’s steady trying to fast talk her and pressure me into signing a receipt for a bill I never even got to see. As we are still figuring things out now the bingo game has started. Mind you we had been there since 4pm and no one came to take our order and then we spent another 30 mins waiting at the bar for them to figure out how to fix the mistake THEY made. Finally they say oh we will just give you $15 cash. I still never got the itemized version of my receipt even though they were supposed to bring it to my table so I wouldn’t miss the game. The frustration that rushed through my body as I watched the bartenders, owner and servers play monkey in the middle with our cards after they already charged us wrong was more than I could handle so I had to step out for a min. Making mistakes is fine but how a business fixes their mistakes is what really matters. Needless to say I will never be back. Thanks for a ruined birthday and event!
