Such a FUN atmosphere, I genuinely can’t wait to come back. The service from the staff as a whole was exceptional! The drinks were delicious and the food phenomenal! I absolutely would recommend uncs wontons, the chicken katsu and an espresso! I would also recommend a reservation as they were busy the whole time we were there.

I am almost embarrassed to say we drove two hours and got a hotel to come to this place. And, thankfully it was worth it. The food was good and the tiki drinks were fun. Especially the treasure box flight of drinks that came out bubbling. We had planned to use the flight as a sampler – but it was enough to share and plenty of liquor. The ambiance though was spectacular for what it was. We live aboard a boat so it isn’t easy to impress us with the nautical theme, but this place did. It was just cheesey enough – like their ‘talking parrot’ – while also being realistic-ish. Those barnacles still amaze me. The thunderstorm was unexpected but a really fun addition to the experience. We were there near close and the server happily warned us so we could get an order in before the kitchen closed. It was also fairly inexpensive for two dinners and a flight of drinks to share. All in all – highly recommend and look forward to perhaps sailing to Cambridge and stopping in again.

If you’re looking for a high quality, detailed tiki-bar experience then The Dive Club is the place to go. The theming and atmosphere of this place are top-notch. Our waitress told us that the owners were inspired by Disney when designing The Dive Club (It is very reminiscent of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Room) and it shows in the level of effort that was put into the theming.

There is a great selection of tiki drinks and the two we got were strong and tasty. The food wasn’t anything spectacular but it was still very good. They didn’t have any souvenir tiki-mugs for sale, but they did have a very cool Dive Club themed tumbler that I was happy to purchase.

The one aspect it was missing from the full tiki-bar experience, is that there seemed to be no drinks that activated corresponding special effects in the bar. It looks like the place is set up to have some special effects and I’ve seen some reviews that mention them, but when I asked our waitress she said they didn’t have any. However, we were there for a late lunch (3 PM) so I suspect they don’t start until dinner service.

All in all, if you like tiki bars or just want a bar/restaurant with a really cool and highly detailed theme, then I definitely recommend The Dive Club.

Unfortunately the atmosphere is really the only thing going for this place. From my understanding their was supposed to be some type shipwreck simulation on top of every hour… that was the biggest draw of wanting to go to this restaurant. Well, lets just say that was a very underwhelming experience. Almost childish. For being so childish this place should had a child’s menu, the kids would different get a thrill out of it. This is definitely a bar atmosphere with a impressive Rum menu. The food here is tapas style like and was very salty. My seafood linguine was good however the snackhead tacos where over breaded and flavorless for what described on the menu. Blacken snakehead would of been sooo much better. Service was as expected. We arrived for our reservations at 7 and stood at the door for more then ten mins. I had hope for more for this place.

This is an unexpected treat in downtown Cambridge, MD. While roaming around antique shops we came across this place thinking it would be a decent bar for a quick drink. Little did we know or expect, this was going to be a really good dinner with some very creative drinks and a show. Yes, this is a boat/nautical themed restaurant that features storms mid-dining. Highly recommend trying the Dice Club for your next meal.

I highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered our appetizers that came out very quickly. The crab dip was very good. We also ordered the conch fritters, which were also very tasty. The portion sizes are rather small. Plan on ordering a couple of items.
The main courses were also very good, I had the fish wish was tasty, and my wife had the short ribs. The specialty drinks are great, and they are packed with a punch.
The atmosphere is awesome, and the waitstaff is truly amazing. The decor was stunning! I do recommend you make a reservation on a weekend to make sure you can experience this very cool themed restaurant!

Loved this place! We visited during the Ice and Oyster Festival so the place was packed. I am so glad we visited this fun-themed Tiki bar! The bar has multiple special effects including a thunderstorm on the hour. It was impressive.

The service was great and staff were attentive. The food was great (had crab soup, crab wontons, and crab cake skillet–awesome crab cake). The drinks were amazing. My favorite was the Tiki Tiki Boom Boom with a garnish of a pineapple spear covered in caramelized sugar. Would have had more drinks but we had an 80 minute drive home. Would definitely go back! The only criticism I have is that there is only ONE bathroom, and unfortunately we were seated a couple tables from the bathroom. At one point the line was seven people long! Shiver me timbers.

We had an absolute blast in the Dive Club. First time visiting and what a great experience! We had lightning, bubbles, pictures swaying, lifejacket crew members , bells ringing just such a laugh, great times had by all. The food was fantastic, good-sized portions, tasty and well presented, and the drinks were fun. There was lots of creativity. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you get the boat life experience. We loved it, so much fun on a rainy afternoon in Cambridge.

The atmosphere is off the charts! I have been to many of the renowned tiki bars and The Dive Club puts most to shame theming wise. You can tell the owner has great attention to detail and drew inspiration from Trader Sam’s at Disney World. The drinks tasted great, but didn’t feel very strong, and the food was good but wouldn’t compare to a restaurant’s quality. Definitely come and stay for the theming and drinks, and get a snack to eat. We will be coming back!

Fantastic place! We had some drinks and tried the crab fried rice and the tuna bowl. All of it was excellent. Where this place really shines, though, is the immersive decor — it’s like being in a pirate ship. My wife especially loved the lightning storm that happens every hour. We’ll definitely be back.
