Friends is your neighborhood grill & bar. We are locally owned with locations in Dacula, Dawsonville, Winder, Buford, Bethlehem, Cumming, Jefferson and Clayton, GA. In business since 2010, Friends is a casual restaurant with great, fresh food, as well as a full bar. So, come in for a meal, or to have a drink with a friends, or to watch some sports on TV. I must have developed the gift of invisibility the moment I entered your restaurant.
I stood at the host stand for seven minutes while staff made direct eye contact with me and then collectively chose to pretend I wasn’t there. The restaurant wasn’t slammed. There was no rush. Just deliberate non-acknowledgment.
To really drive the point home, a party of three walked in after me and was immediately greeted and seated. Impressive efficiency — just apparently not for everyone.
There is no remedy or rectification for that level of disrespect. Especially after a 13-hour shift without eating. I left, called my party, and told them to turn around. They recommended your Commerce location but we went home instead.
I will never be invisible in any location of your establishment again. Nor will we DoorDash from your establishment at my job. I’ll make sure of it.
If management has questions about the accuracy of this review, I invite you to check your cameras. The footage should be very clear, you can’t plead ignorance in this case.

Got this Monte Cristo sandwich for my husband today. Got home and opened the box and was floored. What happened? Have y’all started portion control? The Monte Cristo used to be so much bigger. This should be on the child’s menu. Can’t believe I paid over $15 for this sandwich. Thank goodness the fries came with it.

ive been coming here for the last year and in the last month-quality and service has reached an all time low. Everything has been overcooked and it just taste wrong. I miss my neighborhood bar with good food but it just doesnt exist anymore, if i want to overpay for drinks and food ill just go next door where at least the food taste a little fresh. steak ordered medium sent out well done, tenders dryer than a desert, and i tried to order the pasta but the sauce was all separated and just taste curdled. Servers were great but food has gone so downhill in the last month or two

First time I have been to this location and it was a great experience. Hailey (I think) was our server and she was fantastic. Started off with pimento cheese wontons (so exquisitely tasty). She gave some recommendations for the entrees and they were spot on. The brownie/ice cream dessert was out of this world. Definitely recommend this place.

Love this place. Friendly spot with great food, great service, and great people. The staff is amazing. The people who work there really make the vibe. Such as Brandy the GM, she really sets a fun environment for diners. Friends is the best place in Jefferson for a bite to eat or to just get a drink.

Friends Jefferson is out of the way for us, but we make it a point to keep returning. They’re the only restaurant south of the Mason-Dixon that can make a proper Philly cheesesteak. Their smoked wings come out hot and with the right amount of crispiness each time.
