They have quite a selection of beers especially blondes.
The last time we went we sat in the outside area which was nice and open and was very relaxing.
It’s great to have a BBQ spot like this in Encinitas again, especially one that gets the little things right. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to.
When we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately in a booth. Our server was bright and cheery and made recommendations and the food was delicious.
Looking at the menu, you can see there’s an extensive amount of food with four pages of menu items as well as happy hour items. Also there’s an extensive beer, wine and cocktail list. The beer list is all on tap and is a huge selection like a brewery.
We ordered the baby back ribs combo and we’re able to substitute in different things without any issues. We split this meal and it was it was more than enough for both of us as we had a medium hunger level. The ribs were moist and fell off the bone as we were eating them. This is definitely a place that we would want to return to based. Prices are fair and the restaurant is big enough to see a lot of people. There are TVs so you can watch sports with the family. While we only saw one family in the place because we were there at an off time this is a very kid friendly place.
I would highly recommend going to this restaurant if you need to get your barbecue on and fill that empty stomach with great ribs. Will be back.
Found plastic wrap in my salad. So there’s that.
I feel like the quality definitely was not brought down from Oceanside. Likely won’t go here often, if at all.
When we walked in, no one was at the counter, so we waited as the sign instructed. A server saw us and said someone would be right with us, but we continued waiting — even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and there were plenty of open tables. We waited long enough that another group who came in after us ended up going to look for a hostess themselves.
Eventually, two people came out and seated us. Our server took our order, and the food came out quickly, but the quality wasn’t great. I ordered the mushroom burger, which was greasy, and my daughter’s pasta was bland.
We gave it a try, but between the lack of service and the disappointing food, we won’t be returning.
