I’ve been on a quest to find a good burrito in Denver. It’s hard. This was on my list to try.
Went in and it wasn’t very busy, so service was quick. Prices are reasonable, and portions are fair for the price.
The burritos were above average for Denver so will definitely be back if I’m in the neighborhood again.

I’ve eaten at Senior Burritos for over 25 years. It’s one of my go to Mexican restaurants. This is the new location they just relocated to and the good food hasn’t changed. The owners have always been friendly so the service is great.
It’s like comfort food to me. They start off by giving you chips and salsa. This is one of my favorite classic salsas around the Denver area.
The green chile has a perfect texture of not too thick, and not too runny. I usually get a beef burrito smothered with green chile. It comes with beans in the burrito by default which I don’t like. I’d ask without the beans and only make it beef.
It’s the green chile fries that’s my favorite. The fries are just right in thickness and come out nice and crispy similar to a McDonald’s fries. They are cooked just right, and so you get the French fry flavor with green chile, with each complimenting the other.
The have a habanero hot sauce with a deep flavor that I really enjoy. It gives a little kick.
Overall, good food, great service.

After a 10+ year absence they are back with same recipes. Had the carne adovada burrito. And was just as I remember! And their salsa is good as well, not a bunch of onions and cilantro. I don’t live nearby like I used to but will be worth the drive. I highly recommend giving this place a try and the one across the street.

The food was cold. I think I caught them at a bad time. Not a ton of flavor, no heat to the chili. It was oaky. I might go back and try again sometime, but the first impression was not great.

I paid 14$ for a chimichunga without rice and beans that would have been 4$ extra and i got a burrito that tastes good green chilly is good but the infant size of the burrito i recieved was literally under three quarters of a pound in weight it looked like the box needed company why do folks think they can charge an arm and a leg for nearly nothing for the price what has the united state’s come to .. and this is everywhere .. but other places have horrible service. Witch this did not . Im just upset local native to Denver co. So sad

This is THE Senõr Burritos, folks!! IYKYK, but if you don’t …they were located at 1st and Broadway around the corner from the Hornet for many years. They have relocated to Federal. Same sweet family, same delicious food. Get there now for your fix! Long time fan of their deluxe burritos and chips and salsa.

We thought we were going to the previous owner’s drive-thru. As it turned out, we were thrilled with the breakfast burritos. We tried the egg and chorizo with Chile Verde. Yum!
We have been back for lunch since then, through the drive-thru. We need to try going inside, because the burritos are fresh, tasty, and the Chile Verde is up to our Colorado standards.

First time back to SB in a looong time. Remembered they had good green chile and memory served me correct. This is more of the Denver orange chile, prob because of added tomatoes and love for the Broncos. Flavor and spice were good. Not sure what they add, maybe corn starch as it’s almost the consistency of a hot n sour soup. Tortillas are homemade and perfectly thick and cozy. Worth a visit for sure.

I’ve been coming here for twenty years and although I have moved away and Denver has changed, I still crave the food and friendliness of Senor Burritos. My favorites are the breakfast burrito (add green chile inside), relleno, green chile, and their table salsa. Lovely family, consistently good food, clean and chill. Miss you guys!
