The food was bland and found a bone in my burrito. The price was a bit too high considering the quality of the food. I paid 15$ for a bland burrito with a bone in it. However, the staff was nice, the lady was considerate and the food arrive at an okay time. The atmosphere was what you expect for a standard colfax Mexican restaurant, though they obnoxiously had the music loud. Overall, not the greatest experience the food made the experience poor. I don’t recommend coming here, I will certainly not comeback.

Honestly the food was horrible your definitely overpaying for what your getting quality is bad save your money and go to a reputable restaurant, service was not good at all server was taking shots infront of us she also got mad when we told we didn’t like our non alcoholic drinks and asked for different ones left rolling her eyes at us kinda felt uncomfortable throughout our sitting there. Definitely regretted visiting the restaurant.

We had the blandest green chili on our food and she brought us broken chips that looked like someone smashed then on purpose and couldnt even dip them into the salsa, for the price its awful. Smothered bean burrito, shredded beef burrito had no taste at all, combo plate was awful. The red salsa was the only thing that tasted good not worth almost 50.00

Place reminds me of a dive bar in Florida. At first opinion, I was like ehh but fiancee picked out for lunch so the new me tries it once. We have oysters prepared with ceviche, delicious and fresh. Then had a mixed seafood cocktail, it was bomb!!! Then fish tacos with crispy but soft inside fish…. yummy!! Didn’t realize they already charged a tip like other reviews said. Frankly, we didn’t even notice if they do or don’t but will be aware!!! Food was good! Service at bar was good… atmosphere could use a makeover.

The service was friendly, and my server was attentive. The atmosphere needs a little work, but you can tell it’s a Mexican restaurant so that’s a good start lol. The food is not bad, but I have had better hence the 3 stars. The refried beans I got still had some whole beans, and felt watered down, rather then creamy and toasted. The rice was pretty dry and didn’t really have a lot of flavor, almost like it was a few days old, but not horrible. I got Enciladas, one beef one Cheese. The tortilla was very very dry, and seemed like it might be going out of date. The green chili was definitely from a can, but the beef was decently seasoned and overall I didn’t hate the meal. I would recommend coming here if you want something close to work, or If you want Mexican food while out and about.

Food was hot. No seasoning very bland extremely basic. I think the fajitas would have been better if the sizzling pan it was served on didn’t have old food burned on it underneath my freshly prepared fajitas. Maybe that was for flavor..? And the black stuff floating in the lemonade didn’t add to it so I’m still curious as to why it was in there. Overall unless you’re drinking heavily this isn’t the place for you… Or me. But the live music was hitting they even had a tuba!

The staff was attentive at first and all of a sudden there was a group of women staring at my girlfriend and the service completely changed still confused on how and why that transitioned. The food was okay not the best the have cheese that doesn’t melt so it does change the authenticity. I wouldn’t come back.

This place is delicious! I would definitely recommend it. The salsa was great, the plates were amazing. We got a couple of dressed up micheladas served with beef jerky, shrimp, and cucumbers. So good.

Me and my boyfriend came to eat here around midnight, at first it was very authentic. Music was really loud more than expected. Staff made us uncomfortable as they stared at us regularly, there was hair in my food and they huddled around before handing it to us. We were polite even after walking out the door. But even that didn’t feel reciprocated.
