Amazing food. Cannot believe this place isn’t packed. One of the best steak pies I’ve ever tasted and not bad on pricing.
The crumbing on the onions rings is superb.
The beef burger was scrumptious. Definitely worth it.

The Horn on Great Western Road is one of my favourite places to visit. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and it’s one of the best pints of Guinness in Glasgow. Food and selection of wine is excellent, much better than your average pub offerings, and all very reasonably priced. Overall, well worth a visit.

We booked a table for 2pm to try out this new French restaurant which is very dog friendly. Our 4 month old pup was welcomed. We had a main and cheeseboard with wine and some beers. Staff were very friendly, service was great and food was delicious. Dogs have lots of extras too, bowls, towels and treats. Specials are on offer midweek. We were £50 pp which included the tip. Definitely be back to try out more dishes.

I’ve been to french horn a few times since it opened. As a pub it’s fine and the evening food is decent. Brunch is pretty basic pub brunch unfortunately and the croque monsieur, which is their signature dish, is pretty poor. The service is very good though. Id go in for a pint but the food offering, at least at daytime, is not great and there are much nicer places nearby.

We had a celebration after our wedding in the private room and it was fab! Kelly and staff were so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was great and we all had a lovely night with live music in the background. We’ll definitely be back to try some food next time

Went here for a drink before going for pizza with a couple of friends. We loved the atmosphere. Women’s football was on TV, someone was there having a quiet pint with their dog, another guy was reading a book, there was a couple with a baby and some groups of friends. The staff were friendly and even came out with a couple of Bookcrossing books we’d left behind deliberately to check if we’d left them by mistake. The kind of place you could go as a woman on your own and feel comfortable.

I left my reading glasses behind and they kept it for my collection the next day (big thanks).
If ever I’m in Glasgow I will definitely visit again.
