A “Wow” For atmosphere and unique dining experience! A highlight in Riverside and must-see visit. There are many Mexican food restaurants but this is an experience with many sections of funky street art made with recycled and repurposed items. Self order at the main counter then find a seat in one of their many outdoor patios. There is a small indoor section as well. I had the mini-burrito entree with chicken for lunch and it was so good! Came with standard rice and beans, lettuce, and an orange slice. I only wish they wouldn’t use plastic silverware and disposable plates. I’ll be returning with friends for certain!

We just moved to Riverside and this is the first Mexican restaurant we ate at here. Definitely worth going to! Very interesting place. Lots to see outside!! They were out of tequila that day so no margaritas . That’s why I can’t give them a 5 star review. But definitely go! The atmosphere is worth it.

Quirkiness at its finest!! Probably one of the best Mexican Food places I have ever visited. Other than the food being very, very good, the ambiance is even better. I guess the best way I can describe this place is a Chic/Posh Junkyard. Every where you look, there is some sort of creative display to enjoy. From stuffed teddy bears hanging from the trees, to walls made out of glass soda bottles, and even Minions and Popeye & Olive Oil make an appearance. You must visit to experience. Right in the heart of Downtown Riverside. Seating was available inside and outdoors. The food is awesome!

There are a lot of flies! The chiles rellenos are nasty. The cheese has the consistency of foam. The carnitas wet burrito was mediocre. Instagram hype is not worth it! There is a lot of art everywhere, that may be the only time worthwhile of you. I appreciate that type of art. I took plenty of pictures. There is no need to buy food to see the art. Corn tortillas are store bought.

Not bad! Hot sauce could have been a little bit hotter . But was delicious ! My husband had the shredded beef wet burrito . I had the battered fish tacos . I love the artwork surrounding the area.

After reading about this before me trip to Riverside, I knew I had to go; this place is legendary. How could it not be? Taking mundane everyday refuse, and making it into something unique it clearly art. So creative, so innovative in the application of something as simple as tin cans, the tops cut out from tin cans, metal bottlecaps, bottles, the minions made from discarded tanks – it goes on and on. Certainly a must-see, even if you don’t dine here.

One of the coolest hidden gems in California. Dozens of roadside oddities packed into the patio of a mexican restaurant. Strange artwork, such as a mannequin with a lawnmower on the roof or a life size church made of bottles and many more. You have to see and experience it to believe it. Only one gripe I wish it was like a traditional restaurant where you order from the table instead of inside.
