Made a reservation for 6pm. Arrived at about 5:30/5:45. Parking lot was full. That made things a tad difficult. Went inside. First impression was it appeared nice. Nicely decorated. Kind of small and compact. Tables kind of tight and cramped. And with that, it made it pretty loud. Was seated pretty promptly. Only had to wait about 5 minutes. Got a table. Had water at the table. Waitress came by took a drink order and appetizer order. When they came with drinks we made our main dinner order. Took maybe 15 minutes for our appetizer. Then maybe another 20 for our dinner. Food was really good. So worth the wait. Portions I felt could’ve been a little larger for the price. Ordered a dessert, again took a bit for it to come out. Got the smores dessert. Was fun, came on fire, had the whole restaurant looking at what we had ordered. Was also good. Would definitely eat here again. Maybe not on a busy Saturday night. But the menu definitely had some other things on it I would love to try. Staff was all nice and very welcoming.
Edit to add. Sitting waiting for food, noticing people coming and going, tables remained dirty for long periods of time after the party had departed. 20/30 minutes before someone came to clear. Not exactly appealing to those coming in or those trying to enjoy dinner. Might want to try getting people to clear tables as people depart. 🙂
She went back said the food was being packed up.
Steak dip w/fries and Mac and cheese
Steak dip was drenched in what I imagine is the liquid that’s the steaks either cooked or held in. Making it very difficult to dip in the like warm aus jus that was provided.
Mac and cheese was greasy and grainy. Grainy due to how the cheese sauce is made. Greasy due to the way it’s made
Sandwich was bland and luke warm the fries absolutely cold and to add to that tasted like fish fry. They must have limited fryer capability because it was off putting.
Live next door so it’s not like the food sat long, it takes 3 minutes to get home from the restaurant. Needless to say we won’t be returning.
Great food. Great happy hour prices
