Came in a group of 5 and we were pretty easily seated. Only one front and 1 cook so they seemed understaffed but they worked quickly and efficiently.

We had a variety of dishes, noodles were somewhat oily. The signature black bean dish is definitely good if you like it, salty with a hint of sweet and a load of umami flavor. The sample soup was mild spicy despite its red color, so don’t be afraid of it.
Sweet and sour chicken seem to be breaded in a semi-tempura breading, satisfying crunch and the sauce was not overly sweet.
Each dish is pretty big, either feeds two people or one Very hungry person.
My complaint is that there were very few vegetables, just a ton of noodles.

We had high hopes, but our experience left us somewhat underwhelmed. The restaurant has a solid reputation and a diverse menu, but unfortunately it didn’t quite hit the mark for us this visit.

If you’re just looking for a hearty meal at a fair price and are in the neighborhood, Paik’s is decent. But if you’re seeking something exceptional or memorable in the Korean-noodle category, I’d recommend exploring a few other local spots first. Maybe try one of their signature dishes, but adjust expectations accordingly.

We had the shrimp fried rice, the bokkeumyeon seafood noodles, sweet and sour pork and the creamy shrimp. The food came out hot. Everything was really good. We will go back to try other things.

Such a great restaurant! The food is amazing! My favorite dishes are the Stir Fried Jajangmyeon & the Jjamppong Bap. Ive had lots of korean food but this restaurant is by far the closet as far as authenticity Would highly recommend! The staff also speaks Korean so its nice when we go with native Korean speakers.

Food is very good. I would say one of my Top5 for Korean resto here in SaltLake. Fast service and very clean, well maintained restaurant.
Wide open parking too

Basically everything tastes great, but you have to order the fried pork. Literally so good.

The staff was super super friendly, and the food came out in like 5 minutes.

If I could I would eat here every time we visit Utah.

Went here for lunch and ordered a variety of items to try and take home to eat later. The black bean noodles with seafood is the best item we got and what they are more known for. The peppered beef was OK and makes a great fried rice as leftovers. We got two different chicken dishes with the pieces one being the best and would not recommend the chicken wings though. It was not too busy and food came quickly. Recommend the noodle dishes if you want to give this place a try.

was pleasantly surprised to find this korean noodle restaurant in west valley after a weekend in park city, and open on a sunday too!
we were craving jajangmyeon and soontofu jjamppong – this place did not disappoint. generous portions and delicious flavors. also got the beef jjamppong for the kids to share, lots of vegetables but would’ve liked a bit more beef.
space is big with lots of seating. when you walk in, you order at the front before finding your own seat. while the staff seemed nice, it didn’t seem like a service forward type of establishment.
easy to find, lots of free mall parking. would definitely return next time we’re in the area. don’t forget to head to blue blue afterwards for bubble tea

This place serves the most authentic Korean food in Utah! The flavors are just like those in Korea, and everything tastes amazing. I keep coming back because the food is that good. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great as well. I highly recommend this place!

Yummy! We ordered the #2 which had a little spicy kick. The sweet and sour pork and the stir fry were also delicious and kid friendly. The service was fantastic and so friendly. I’m a bit of a water snob at restaurants but this place had good drinking water. We’re already planning to go back.
