I stopped by Teriyaki Seafood Express for the lunch special and what a treat! The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly made. The staff was friendly and efficient, making it an overall great experience. I’ll definitely be back soon — highly recommend for a delicious and satisfying lunch!

Customer Service was much better this go round. They still had a few customers who had items left off their order so the kitchen needs to pay more attention to tickets & keep orders uniform. Overall the Chicken x Shrimp today was night & day difference… much better and actually had some teriyaki sauce on it. The size of the shrimp matched the price. Everything had the flavor it needed. Wait time is still 15 to 20 minutes but I can’t complain when something’s being cooked fresh. I would visit again if the order today was consistently served. The last two food pics are what the return order looked like.
Original Review: Just visited the New* Teriyaki Express on Yadkin Rd (Old Churches Building) Ordered in the drive-thru a Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki Combo with Fried Rice (+.75 extra) got told to go to spot #1 after about 20 minutes my order was delivered but it was wrong (No Chicken) had to go inside and get the rest of my order another 10 minutes. I know they are New but it was literally just me at the time ordering and a quick meal turned into a 30 minute ordeal. The shrimp are fairly sized some semi-sweet flavor from the teriyaki but the teriyaki chicken is like chicken and broccoli chicken there isn’t much of anything to it not the grilled flavor I’m used to. The fried rice is very bland if it didn’t have any vegetables in it I wouldn’t even know it was fried rice. Hopefully they fix the kinks for the future. Will I leave my go-to Hibachi spot for them NO … They have potential but alot of things to fix. #meanwhileinfayetteville

Everything so far from the seafood boil to the terriaki plates and the boba teas are on point! Best spot that we finally say we keep wanting more! Sorry the rice and chicken was so good I didn’t get to take the pic before I started eating it… hahaha
Oh and if you like a real delicious fruit drink mix…passion fruit and strawberry frozen…. ask for the “IAMGROOT Special” that’s all fruit flavors mixed in 1 very tasty drink! Enjoy!!

First time visiting this restaurant, and I think that the prices are reasonable. The food is very flavorful and You definitely get Your money worth. After eating my full, I had enough for another setting! I’ll definitely refer them to People that I know and will definitely revisit!

Great customer service. I ordered the family meal, which included a plate of chicken teriyaki and a small seafood boil. It was a really good deal in my opinion. Everything tasted great and the quality was good. I recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I love this place down me and my husband found our new lil date spot!! The chicken is amazing honey bbq is our fav for right now and the prices OHMYGOODNESS it’s actually perfect for the quality and QUANTITY they are so nice and it’s all the best experience every time!!! Blow them up guys they deserve it all a nice place with fantastic people if I could give a million stars I would.

The seafood boil flavor is great, the teriyaki chicken was perfect and with a good seasoning no to much soy sauce ( not a soy sauce lover), ended up getting a boba tea and that was the best tea ever found around the area.

This grand opening of the location was long awaited. Customer service terrible the girl up front was on her phone instead of tending to customers. The rice has zero salt/pepper no seasoning on anything . Neither does the steak or the broccoli it taste like they took it straight out of the frozen package And fried it up same thing with the chicken, no salt or anything just fried chicken with barbecue sauce splattered over it.

I ordered teriyaki steak , fried tilapia basket and bubble tea brown sugar molasses the food was ok no flavors Or seasoning. the bubble tea is far from the taste of brown sugar you cannot taste brown sugar or molasses it’s just sweet and the boba is hard.

Love the food! Best Asian food in Fayetteville or hope mills or spring lake! I like their drink too pina colada mixed with mango. The drink was extremely sweet. Next time I’ll say make less sweet if possible. I’m diabetic, need to be careful!
