Absolutely horrible! I got the appetizer sampler. It was all stale, cold, and tasted horrible. The chicken wing was undercooked. The shrimp had huge breading and a tiny shrimp. The egg fo young had spilled out on the bag. It tasted like something in it went bad. The orange chicken was cold, hard, and didn’t taste good. The only edible food was the fried rice and soup. All the rest went into the garbage. Money wasted. I read the reviews and they were mixed. Most recent ones not the best. I guess they are under new management? I should have listened. Don’t waste your money here!!!

I ordered food through Uber eats and was totally disappointed. Not with Uber but with this restaurant. The Mongolian beef had jalapeño pepper slices added instead of the traditional small red peppers. The dish was Horrible. The sweet and sour shrimp had so much breading on them which was over cooked. After peeling off the breading, all of the shrimp was shriveled, dried out small pieces. The combination fried rice I had to tolerate because I was hungry and needed to eat something after a hard day’s work. I’d rate it a 2/10. The only thing that was good was the crab Rangoon and the bottle of sweet and sour sauce I ordered to keep in my house. Terribly disappointing. Would never eat or order from there ever nor will I recommend this place.

First time trying them and my last time. I ordered a large orange chicken, small shrimp fried rice, spring rolls and fried crab sticks. The only thing that taste ok was the spring rolls. The food was super salty I couldn’t eat it. The man at the register had a attitude . Waste of money will not be going back.

Tried them for the first time today. Mongolian beef was not that great, it had green peppers and jalapeños in it . The beef fried rice did not taste authentic. The orange chicken was rubbery and overcooked. I can say that it was hot and needs help on the taste. Even the veg egg rolls weren’t pleasing. I came here due to the bad attitude at See Thru Chinese on Jeffery, but I might have to go back

I change my review from five stars to 2 stars. I was told after twice ordering the same dish in addition to two veggie egg rolls they gave me a salty soggy meat egg roll for the second time.
I called the restaurant the guy says I have to pay to get another egg roll they need ethnic and customer service skills seems like they need to be closed again.
Food getting nasty and there seem to be unknown things found in food so I will pass no more for me. They don’t cook like they used to, and the food is nasty. They are cheap not giving sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce.

Update:

I returned a few times.
The food improved.
There are times when the food could be much better, yet they are making great progress.

I tried Hoe Toy for the first time Superbowl Sunday. I was extremely disappointed with the orange chicken that was very salty and the vegetable fried rice also very salty. When the driver handed over the food it smelled burnt. Not only was my order salty it tasted burnt as well. Never again will I purchase from this restaurant. Skip Hoe Toy and try somewhere else.

First Off The Man at the register Had a very bad attitude! the Food Be old It doesn’t taste fresh They whole place looks dirty and They all have attitudes for no reason. They be charging people extra so when you order look at the menu. The whole place 0/10 don’t recommend. We spending our money the least they can do is have a good attitude. Orange chicken supposed to be moist with orange sauce on it this chicken is dry. I asked for extra sweet & sour sauce 10 time the man had an attitude didn’t want to give me any. Ughhh just close the place down or move to chime town wit all that!!!

Service 0, Atmosphere 0, food eh I wouldn’t order , let me tell you why. 1. They moved across the street! And I’ve been going there for years & I didn’t recognize anyone anymore! so I asked, hey are you the same business as before ? I was met with abrupt rudeness & blew off immediately for asking a question. I then tried to order and was told I couldn’t get extra sweet and sour sauce even if I paid for it . I knew then to stay away. I ordered white rice and made my own stir fry @ home. Haven’t been back since & wont go back .
