Let’s get one thing straight: our family trip to Thai Village in Princeton wasn’t just about finding dinner; it was about a spiritual awakening in the form of a dessert. Forget everything you think you know about Thai food. Your family’s quest for flavor ends here, and it ends with a bowl of sticky rice that can only be described as the culinary equivalent of a hug from a unicorn.

My family, a motley crew of picky eaters and adventurous palates, embarked on our feast with high hopes and a mission to make everything vegan. Thai Village, bless their hearts, did not disappoint. They handled our dietary requests with the grace of a seasoned monk, and the results were nothing short of miraculous. Even the kids, who usually eye anything green with deep suspicion, were impressed.

First, the supporting cast: a Tom Yum soup that was solid and dependable, and a coconut soup that was so creamy, so balanced, and so utterly delicious it could make a grown man weep into his spoon.

The Pad Thai, often the star of the show for the little ones, was a fantastic understudy—packed with amazing flavor that held its own, a silent testament to the chef’s genius.

And let’s not forget the spring rolls and Thai iced tea… we’ll just say they were there. Like the quiet extras in a blockbuster movie. They played their part and kept the peace.

But now, for the main event. The “star attraction,” the “must try,” the reason I am writing this review with tears of joy in my eyes: the mango sticky rice. We were warned, we were told to try it, and we did. And then we ordered another one, just to prevent a family brawl.

My friends, this is not just a dessert. It is a work of art. The rice was perfectly cooked, the mango impossibly sweet, and the coconut sauce? A velvety, creamy elixir that tied it all together. It was the best we’ve ever had. Period. The kind of dessert that makes you want to write a family sonnet or a strongly-worded letter of gratitude to the kitchen staff.

So, to all the families out there, especially those with vegans and vegetarians in tow: cancel your plans. Make the pilgrimage to Thai Village. Order everything, but whatever you do, do not leave without getting the mango sticky rice. And then, for good measure, get another one. Your souls—and your family’s taste buds—will thank you.

The service was great, very kind and helpful. Clear noodle soup had a warm umami flavor to it. The spring rolls were very crispy and obviously fresh. Would come here again!!

The place is well located and has their own parking given its downtown and finding a parking is difficult. The restaurant is cute, with lovely atmosphere and with quick service. The food was very good.. Kids loved it. Has both veg and non veg optionsz

I went with my family for a casual dinner. There was no waiting, very family friendly ambience and the food was great! We mainly ordered the Drunken Noodles—they’re always a hit—and the Tom Yum soup. I recommend both of the dishes and if you’re someone who loves spice, the chili sauce is worth the money.

We recently ate at Thai village and really enjoyed it. The soup was served hot with the perfect level of spice and packed with vegetables. The place is small, but neat, clean, and has wide open windows that give it a nice feel. My wife ordered fried rice with mushrooms, but it came with very few pieces. When we mentioned it to the server, he quickly brought us an extra bowl of mushrooms. Great customer service!

I enjoyed both the food and the service at Thai Village. My dad had the Penang Curry, and the medium spice level was just right for him. I ordered the Duck Curry at the mild spice level. I especially liked all the pineapples. We’re definitely coming back here again!

We love Thai Village! We had the penang curry (amazing) and the curry fried rice (great). Service was great and food came fast. The only con is the interior design and atmosphere aren’t really great.
